Ch22-Food Source

Laurance's P.O.V.

We have been sailing for about two days now. Nothing much has happened but I have been talking with Vylad a lot. He is actually pretty cool.

I woke up very early this morning. I find it hard to sleep on a moving boat however I mist sleep if I want to look good. Well better than I already do, but I'm not sure if I can look any better. Well I guess I shouldn't be so egotistical.

I am sitting on the deck and I'm looking over the ocean. It looks beautiful in the early morning sun. But Aphmau is beautiful. I really want to talk to her again but I think she is still asleep. I wonder when she will wake up. Hmm maybe I can go wake her up myself.

I walk down to the bottom of the deck and I walk past all the rooms. I manage to find her room in a few minutes and I walk in. Aww she looks so adorable when she is asleep. She is like a little kitten.

I put my hand on her shoulder and I shake her awake. She opens her eyes and looks at me.

"Uhh Laurance?" She says yawning

I wrap my arms around her and she pulls back a little

"Good morning Aphmau" I say

"What are you doing in my room?" She asks

"I just wanted to wake you up" I smirk "You are really cute when you're asleep"

"Oh I see, can I get dressed now?" I ask

"Oh I'll help you" I say lightly grabbing her shoulders

"Umm I'm good" she says slipping out of my grip

She pushes me out of her room and tells me to wait there. I look around the hall from where I'm standing while I'm waiting for her. Aphmau didn't get angry when I woke her up. When I wake up Cadenza she punches me twenty times.

Finally the door opens and Aphmau accidentally walks into me. I guess I was standing to close to the door.

"Ahh Laurance really? You planned that" she says

"For once I didn't, but if you like me holding you I can do it more often" I whisper in her ear

"Again, I'm good. Let's go to the deck" she says grabbing my arm and pulling me

We arrive at the top deck and she looks out through an old fashioned telescope.

"Hey I see land!" She says excited

"Really lass? Where might it be?" A voice says behind us

Oh no McCloud ruined my moment alone with Aph. Ugh I know that this is his boat and all but I wish he wouldn't always be there when I'm trying to talk with Aphmau. He can't stand me either because we are both casanovas. It's kind of an unspoken rule that most casanovas shouldn't get along and we actually compete with each other. Although if Aphmau and I were together o wouldn't need to be a Casanova anymore.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

As I'm walking down to my room I hear yelling. I turn around and I see Goat running towards me.

Oh no Goat is running towards the food storage. I try to stop him but Goat just runs straight last me. By the time I manage to catch up to him he has eaten through most of the food.

"BARNEY!" I yell so the whole boat hears me

I hear footstep running towards me and I turn to see Barney.

"Opar" he says, tangs Barney for uh-oh

"Barney I swear Goat needs to go or else I'm going to throw him off the boat" I say

We go up to the deck and tell everyone what happened. We agree to stop at the small island to replenish our sources. By that we mean we are going to steal form the villagers if there is a village. When we dock we see a small wooden village.

The nobles try to tell us not to steal and maybe we can talk to the villagers.

"We are thieves it's what we do" I say as we walk towards the village

We leap from roof to roof choosing houses to steal from. I climb through the window of one and get a few pieces of fruit and some other things. I bring the food back to the boat and I go to another house. The villagers have seemed to pick up on the thieves but luckily they haven't found our ship.

I climb into another house and I feel myself being pushed forward. I turn around and I am met with a slap across my face. I see a man that is about twenty. He scratches my arm and I manage to react quick enough to get out of the house.

I go back to the boat and I can feel myself bleeding already. When I arrive I immediately run past the nobles in hope they don't notice.

"Aphmau what happened?" Garroth asks concerned

"This is one of the things that happens when you get caught" I whisper with my back towards them

"Come here I can help you" Vylad says holding a jar of some sort

"What is that?" I ask turning around

"It's healing ointment" he says

"I don't need anything from you" I say turning around and running to Lucinda's lab

Lucinda stayed back so she could heal anyone who needed to be healed. By the time my cuts have been healed the sun has set. I walk up to the deck and I walk over to the railing. We set sail again because we didn't want to be caught stealing. Luckily we have enough food now for a while.

"How are you doing?" I hear a voice behind me say

"Vylad... I'm fine" I say turning around

"Why do you hate me?" He asks

"You were one of the people who kept me in the castle, more than the others" I say

"What that's it?" He asks shocked

"What do you mean, that's it? It was nether staying there, only Aaron actually cared about me" I say

"I-I'm sorry I didn't realise, I just thought you were a thief" He says stepping closer

"I am just a thief" I sigh

"No you are so much more" he says wrapping his arms around me

He lets me go and turns around. He leaves. What does he mean I'm much more? I'll ask him about it later.

Vylad's P.O.V.

My heat it racing so much right now, that was so nerve wracking. For some reason I'm nervous about talking to Aphmau. She is kind of intimidating.

"What were you doing talking to Aphmau?" I hear someone ask

Zane..

"None of your business " I reply

"You are so annoying" he says

"It's what brothers do" I shrug

"We are half brothers, you don't really matter" he says

I'm about to fight back but something runs down the hall. I am knocked over and I see a flash of white. Oh my Irene it's Goat. Luckily we roped off the food source so we don't have a repeat of this morning.
