In the beginning
There was nothing
And all was well,
But that was Not
How it decided to stay.There came a day
When all grew still
As a stirring
Deep within the emptiness
Came a light spark.It grew and grew!
No force could contain;
Full to bursting,
It all exploded
In a brilliance of colors.The Reds were passionate
While the oranges and yellows
Came softly and timidly forth;
Blues came now and then
Calmly hinting of sadness.Oh the many colors!
How beautifully they burst!
Each expanding and growing
As they merged together
One color appeared...Dark and whole came Black,
A pit of nothingness formed;
Yet as a contrast came White
Speaking reckless hope
It silenced all except the truth.OH! The splendid colors
The emptiness they filled
And the hole they carved.
Slowly, surely it will
Fade and disappear.Until then let the Fireworks
Explode in the thousands
It is the lovely view
Of utter destruction
Which brings forth creation.
