"Come on—let's go talk to the cats and figure out what's going on with them," one twoleg said very worriedly, striding across the clearing with others that had been chased out of the city.

"Don't you get it? They don't want us in there anymore, Alex! I know!" another exclaimed, his glasses and long coat making him look like an important figure.

"Astro, stop talking crazy nonsense! Of course they want us... we gave them everything they know!" Alex snapped back, taking Astro's glasses.

Astro shrugged, taking off the coat. "I didn't need those anyway!" He yelled before disappearing out of thin air. The twolegs just stared at each other, severely confused.

"Let's just go now," Alex said slowly, leading the group to Landong.

Once getting there they were greeted by a few Landong cats. The two cats looked up at him with menacing eyes as Aspenfrost ran into the clearing and saw the two cats and twolegs. He stopped in his tracks, seeing Robinstar come up from behind him as well as many other citizens.

"What is the meaning of your cats driving us out of our city?" one of the twolegs yelled from the angry and confused crowd, who muttered an agreement.

"We are done playing your twoleg games," Robinstar growled slowly. "I suggest you leave before things get worse."

"Why should we leave the things we made, why should we leave our homes because some puny cats say so?" Alex growled, taking a step closer to the cats whose fur was slowly rising the closer he got.

"Because we have an army bigger than your own and we have our natural weapons with us at all times," the infuriated yellow eyed leader said with her eyes narrowing on Alex.

Alex's eyes were sour and his expression furious as he took another step, leaning down to grab Robinstar. As he did so two warriors leaped onto the ginger headed male, their claws unsheathed. Alex let out a yelp as the cats jumped onto him.

The other twolegs were scrambling to get their guns as more cats piled onto Alex.

The shot of a single gun was fired and all went quiet, the second gun shot fired, then the third, then the fourth. Except following the fourth one there was a small squeal, the squeal of a kit.

"Iriskit!" Aspenfrost yowled, running to the small kit. The rest of the Landong cats grew dark as they slowly approached the twolegs. They leaped at them, hissing, and gun fires rang out through the clearing.

Cats fell to the ground, dead or shot. Twolegs fell wounded with the many cuts attained from cat claws.

Aspenfrost's ears were folded back, his tail lashing. He curled around his dead kit while the battle surrounded him. Shots of guns flew passed Aspenfrost, and cats leapt over him, landing on the nearby twolegs.

None of it mattered to Aspenfrost, his kit, one who he wanted to protect, had died. He'd failed. As a warrior and a father. He ignored every gunshot that flew pasted him and ignored every cat who trampled on his tail. He wanted to be there for his kit's descent to the after world.
