They flew through the air, the cool wind blowing through their hair.
"This is so much more peaceful when we don't shout andale four times."
Boom! They sped up instantly, their gums flapping in the wind.
"Luka!" The carpet slowed down once again.
"Fuyo, you have to watch your mouth." She scolded Fuyo for carelessly saying andale.
"Sorry, I was careless." He scratched his head; he didn't try to pull an innocent face this time. He might've accidentally made her fall off the Kira.
They flew through the air at quite a fast speed; they would arrive home in more than 15 minutes. The village was quite gorgeous from this height, the lights in the houses lit up the streets like fireflies in the night.
"I wonder what my energy vision looks like at night." He opened his eyes with his energy vision activated.
There were many balls of energy around the village. They looked very small from this height but they stood out at night.
"What's that area?" Fuyo pointed to the left, far in the distance.
"That's the village center, only nobles live there."
"That's a shame, the spirit energy in that area is much denser and the energy is of higher quality."
"That would make sense because they have a massive energy formation there; it attracts energy from the surrounding areas to enrich the center zone. But only people nobles can enter the field of spirit energy. There are gates all around it and they are guarded 24/7 so no one can sneak in."
"The rich really do have all the privilege. It would be great if we could build our own spirit formation to absorb spirit energy. It would help our workers get stronger and work longer."
"There is only one world spiritualist in the entire village and he has no disciples. Good luck with that."
"Hey, it could happen if we are lucky right? Oh, hold on. What's that down there?"
"What's what?"
"I don't know, let's just go now for now. Luka, guma, pawpaw."
The carpet floated down to the ground, they stopped in the middle of a field.
"It doesn't look like there is anything here?" Tuzai said, it was just an empty field.
"You are right; it is just an empty field. But look at the grass."
She ripped some grass off; the grass wasn't very tall only around 6ft tall. Most grass would grow 3 or more stories in height.
"You can't see any difference?"
"No, the only difference I can see is that it is many times smaller than normal grass."
"That's good, it means only I can see it. Let me tell you, this grass is filled with spirit energy."
He took a bite and felt his dantian fill up as the grass was digested in his stomach. She sat there and watched him eat stalk after stalk until he devoured more than ten blades of 6 foot grass.
Boom!
Boom! His dantian exploded, his first layer that was filled with white energy climbed up and smashed through the second layer combining into a single bigger layer. He successfully broke through to the second layer of qi condensation but it didn't stop there, it continued surging until he broke through to the third layer of qi condensation and he wasn't too far from the next level. He was so close that he could almost taste it.
"Did you see that?"
"I...wow, I didn't know grass could contain spiritual energy like that. It actually helped you break through to the twice, this is heavenly grass!" She was envious that he could eat grass and she couldn't.
"So, you found yourself a snack? Is that it?" She lifted her head in a huff, clearly displaying her jealousy.
"No, haha... That's not why I brought us down here, why do you think the grass contains so much spiritual energy?"
"I'm not sure, but I assume you are going to tell me, hmph.."
Fuyo ignored her attitude and winked as he said "It's the dirt"
He picked up a handful and looked at it with his energy vision.
"It looks just like normal dirt?"
"In your eyes it does but in mine it is radiating energy."
"Energy? That's amazing, your eyes are too powerful, but what can we do about it? I can't feel the energy around me, it's like it's trapped in the dirt. I don't think it will be any good for cultivating."
"You are right, it's not a spirit abode, I think this is something different. Usually, when I see spirit abodes they are surrounded by balls of energy and there are also spirit stones in a small spirit pond full of spirit water nearby."
"This is only a theory but I think the spirit stones are formed by this thing."
He pulled out a little root he had on him. It didn't look like anything impressive.
"What is that thing?" Tuzai asked.
"I call it a spirit root; it's like a little plant. I did a few experiments with it. I went through the forest to one of the old spots I found white spirit stones at and amazingly the spirit abode had replenished and it was full of white spirit energy once again and there were spirit stones in the water. I went back 3 times and everyday it was the same. I found this little guy buried under the spirit water, just beneath the dirt."
"I pulled him out and kept him, when I went back the next day the spirit abode hadn't replenished itself unlike the previous 3 days. I took this guy and buried him in another location, do you know what happened?"
"I could take a guess but I'd rather hear it from you." She said nonchalantly.
"Haha, alright then. Well I went back after a day and nothing had happened, 2 days and still nothing, 3 days, 4 days and nothing."
"I was starting to lose hope but after a week, water started to form on top of the spirit root. 3 weeks later it produced its first spirit stone. This was yesterday; I plucked this spirit root after realizing what happened. I wanted to bring it back home and plant it."
"N..no way, if this is true then we have a spirit stone factory?"
Fuyo nodded his head "That's right, with my eyes I can find a spirit root at least once a week. We can keep growing our collection until we no longer need to worry about making money because the money will create itself."
