"Through all this commotion, I never had a chance to hear your names?"

"Oh, my name is Tuzai La Morto and my friend here is Fuyo Long."

'Fuyo Long?' This was the first time Fuyo had heard his last name. Long means Dragon it was quite a cool family name, didn't really match a caterpillar though.

"Long and La Morto?" The old man's emotions had been tempered for hundreds of years but even he couldn't help but be surprised when he heard their names.

"Interesting...."

"Well then we will be taking our leave. Tuzai, come to the bone relic pavilion tomorrow and we will start your training and Fuyo, you should start training diligently. Don't slack off!" He said in a stern voice and then disappeared from sight along with Iris.

"Well that was surprising." Tuzai looked at him with a big smile on his face.

"How did this happen?"

"I'm not sure, but I think he was testing us. We must have passed, he might still be testing us so don't let down your guard."

She nodded her head, "I'm excited though, I finally get to learn alchemy. We don't need money to support us anymore since we have enough to survive, I can quit my job and focus all my efforts on cultivation and alchemy."

She couldn't stop herself from smiling, "Right, and I'll focus on learning these two books. Let's have a good sleep and get ready for tomorrow."

The night came and went; they barely slept because they were so excited.

They didn't waste any more time, they had breakfast at 5 am and immediately left on Kira. "Woof!"

They flew through the air twice as fast as yesterday. The air was cold and chilly but they were wearing their clean clothes so it didn't affect them by much. The reason they left so early was due to the business that had to settle before she went to the pavilion.

"Down here, this is the land management center. All land owners must go through here, guma, luka, pawpaw."

They flew down and stopped in front of the building. It wasn't anything impressive; it was just a normal one level building.

At the front desk there was a man who was almost tearing his hair out.

"Dammit, how am I going to get rid of this land? It's causing so many problems. I can't believe I purchased it. I was blinded by the cheap price, I knew there was a reason it was so cheap. I can't believe it, I was suckered."

"25,000 acres of worthless land!"

At the point Fuyo and Tuzai walked through the front door.

'Mmm, good clothes, well groomed, must be nobles.' He nodded his head at the new customers.

"Greetings valued customers, my name is Mr. Lucky how may I help you today? Are there problems with your land? Or are you looking to buy or sell."

"No, no nothing like that. We just wanted to have a quick look. Do you have a map available?"

"Ah, yes. I do." He quickly pulled out a map of the village and its surrounding land.

'I sincerely hope these kids aren't just window shopping, hopefully they are here on business for their filthy rich daddies. Maybe then I can make back some of the money I lost.' He snickered to himself.

"Okay, how much is it for 250 acres of property in the outskirts of the village?"

"The outskirts? Why would you want land out there? But it's around 1,000 gold."

"Only 1,000 gold?" He stared and looked at Tuzai. This was ten times cheaper than Tuzai's given number.

"Whoops, I forgot to carry the one. But this is good news."

Fuyo nodded his head, it was good news. That means they could purchase 2,500 acres of land, when it rains it pours.

"Alright then, how much for this specific piece of land here? It's not owned or being used by anyone at the moment is it?"

Fuyo pointed out a red spot on the map that seemed to stretch for 25,000 acres or so. It was the same area they found the 6ft grass and Spirit Earth. The area was a lot bigger than Fuyo imagined. But seeing it on a map put everything into perspective.

He guessed it would be incredibly expensive because the earth there was of much higher quality. Even if they could only get 100 acres with their wealth it would still be good.

The man looked at the place they were pointing and almost dropped his pen. "Ah, right sir. This land is very good land, how much of it were you thinking of purchasing? I actually know the buyer personally so maybe I could have a word with him and get a discount if you purchase a large amount of this area."

The sales man was excited; he might have a way out of this predicament if he could sell enough of the land.

"Hmm, well that really depends on the price per acre. What's your offer?"

'So he doesn't want to offer a starting price? Then I'll have to guess his bargaining margin. Dammit.'

"Ah, well... About that, because this land isn't exactly on the market I can't give you a definite price. I will have to talk with the owner first but unfortunately the owner is out of town at the moment. As the designated representative I can take a few liberties. Shall we say 8 gold an acre?"

The price he gave them was twice the average price for land in the outskirts of the village; so when he said it, it would shock them and make them think this land is worth more than normal, then they would try and barter the price down and he would be able to settle on 2 or 3 gold an acre.

If he gave them a low price it would cause them to be suspicious. He actually paid little more than 30 silver per acre for this land so he was driving the price up by more than 10 times. As he expected, when he said these words they had faces of shock but the words they said blew his mind.

"Really, only 8 gold an acre?"
