Chapter 1
"Good morning, mom." I kissed her on the cheek, and grabbed a piece of toast."Bye, mom." I was in a rush, it was already 6:30am. Had about 15 minutes to catch the train.
"Honey, why the rush you should at least eat some-"
"Late. Gotta. Go."
"Ahh, kids."
I made it to the train in time thankfully, really couldn't afford to miss the first day of school. Especially since it's my senior year. Finally arrive at my stop to get to my school, which is another 5min walk. I texted, Chris to see where the hell he was.
Me: 6:59am
Hey, you were supposed to meet me at my stop. What happened?
I made it to school, and still no answer from him. "Hey" I turned around to see who said that, and it was Chris. I punched him in the arm. "Ouch, what was that for."
"You stood me up, and didn't you get my text?"
"I'm sorry bout that, got held up." I noticed that he had red lipstick on his collar. Got held up huh? I just brushed it off, and we headed to our lockers. "So are you going or what?" Chris was trying to convince me to go the "annual" senior party.
"Chris, you know how I am." I closed my locker and turned to face him. And I was met with his icy blue eyes, that are oh so hard to resist.
"Pleaseee, for me?" He gave me his puppy dog eyes look, and I couldn't help but fall for it like always.
"Aghh, fine." The bell rang, "We should get to class." Everyone rushed into class. Already ten minutes into class, the teacher gives us work. I can hear Chris and *gag* Trisha giggling with each other and it's annoying the shit out of me. I walked up to Mr. Palmer, "Can I go to the bathroom." He didn't even look up at me, just pointed.
"Pass is over there." Sometimes I wonder why I feel the things I do when I'm around him. I've known him my whole-" *Umph* When I turned the corner I bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry." Their books fell, "Here, let me help you."
I went to grab the last book and I looked up to hand it to the person and was met with the, prettiest green eyes I've ever seen. "My book." I realized I was staring.
"Oh sorry." I handed the book to the person.
"ha, it's fine umm you wouldn't happen to know where room 203 is?"
"Yeah up those stairs and to your right you'll see it."
"Thanks." I nodded, and as I walked away I realized, that I just said a girl had pretty eyes. Whoa. I just brushed it off.
It was finally lunch time, and boy was I hungry. Chris decided he wanted to skip lunch and hang with the "boys". I didn't think much of it, but It does suck eating alone. I sat in the corner of the cafeteria, by the window. "Is this seat taken?" When I turned to see who said that, it was the girl from earlier.
"No, not at all, please go ahead." She sat down across from me.
"Sorry to bother you, just don't know anyone here, and I remember you from earlier."
"Oh no it's totally fine, I get it. Names Michelle, friends call me Mickey."
"Nice, I'm Robin." She and I talked about a few thing's, it was odd because I rarely get along with people. But she was cool.
Finally the last class of the day, I just wanna go home. "Okay class, find a partner." Chemistry is my last class and I'm sitting alone as always. "Michelle, do you have a partner yet?" Like high schoolers are, everyone pretty much stared at me, weirdos.
