Epilogue (Finished)

Noah's POV

The wedding song plays and soon down the corridor I spot my girlfriend and my soon to be wife.

After all the traumatizing shit we've seen. Carter needed therapy. To almost dying and having been tortured she wasn't functioning the same.

The cops had gotten everyone involved to prison. They had put us in witness protection while the trial was going on, but as soon as that was over we were back to our normal lives.

And I didn't hesitate to propose. There was a time where I doubted my relationship with Carter and a few times where we had almost broken up. I'm glad I didn't.

I realized thats the one person I want to speak to everyday, the one person that makes everything worth living. I wake up and she the first person I think about, and the last before I go to sleep.

Ive never loved like I love her. It just took being away from her for me to notice.

She finally reaches me in front of the priest and shes even more stunning up close. I haven't seen her in 24 hours, she insisted because its tradition.

"You may all be seated",and the crowd of people sit as told.

"We are gathered here today to unite this union between Noah and Carter". I notice everyone crying, including my beloved Carter.

"Who gives this bride away?", the preacher asks.

"We do", says Carters parents.

"I understand you have prepared your own vows".

My best man Aiden hands me my paper.

"Carter, my friend, my lover. I know it took us a long time to get to this point but it was worth it. In these five years, you've have become my number one priority, my beloved, the person I hold closest to my heart. Growing up I didn't really have a family, it was just me and my mom. Carter you changed what life was for me. You took the rain and made it disappear. You became my sunshine. You gave me everything I could ever hope for and do much more. Including our beloved son, Dominic. You make me a better man, you make me went to strive and prosper and become my best self. I promise to take care of you and to love you until the end of time. I love you Carter".

"Jace, your bad attitude and your stubbornness are truly things I have fallen in love with. Everytime you look at me I still get butterflies like were still in high school. I look at you and I fall in love all over again. Although, you annoy the holy shit out of me, you're still the person I want to wake up to and sleep with. You've given me something priceless. And through all the trials we've gone through, you've proven your undying love for me. I promise to keep loving you, until death do us part. I love you too Noah".

"Carter Smith, do you take Noah Hayes to be your husband?"

"I do".

"Noah Hayes, do you take Cater Smith to be your wife?"

"I do".

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride".

We kiss passionately and our son cone running up to us.

"Mommy, Daddy, Grandma is crying". He tugs at my dress.

" I now buddy it's okay she's happy".

I notice my mother whisper something in Carter's ear.

Then she comes to me. "You have a good one on your hands. Don't mess this up".

" I won't ma".

"My baby boy is all grown up. You look so handsome. I'm so proud of you".

"Thanks mom I love you. I'll see you when I get back".

"Alright", she takes Dominic. "How would you like to stay with GMA for the week".

" Yeah, I stay with grandma".

She laughs and they walk off.

I walk up to Carter. "So how does it feel to be Mrs.Hayes".

"Surreal".

"Well, you wanna get out of here. Its time for the best part ".

"And what is that?", she asks.

"Our surprise honeymoon"

"Noah you didn't", she squeals

"Oh I didn't", she frowns. "But Aiden, Chrissy and Andy did".

"Let's go then, where is it...what should I pack".

"Carter, its a surprise to me too, they wouldn't tell me where they just told me to pack warm clothes".

"Where's our stuff then?"

"I'm guessing in our car out front".

We walk down the steps outside the church and head towards an uber black, our friends waiting in the front.

Carter hugs them and I kinda do a bro shake with all of them.

"Thank you so much for this".

"Think of it as a wedding gift from all of us to you", Chrissy says.

"It was no issue really", Andy says.

" I love you guys, but Andy where's Liz?", Carter asks.

"She's in the bathroom".

Liz and Andy have been together ever since high school, they are engaged and looking to adopt.

Aiden and Chrissy just started dating and things are looking good for them too.

"Well what are you waiting for get in. Here's your tickets" ,Aiden says.

"Alright then, I'll check in when I can", I say.

" Don't get my sister pregnant again", Andy smiles.

"Trust me, I don't want another one for awhile".

"Tear that back up", Aiden hollers.

Chrissy punches his arm. "Shut up dickface".

And with that we left our best friends to argue and for the rest of our lives, Carter and I are to live in complete bliss.
