Volume 1, Chapter 7: First Genius Girl

In the Spirit Brawl Arena...

As I turned around, I noticed that there were nine big faces, like a 3D model of the sculpture, and it was made of various attributes or elements such as air, water, earth, fire and other five kinds of different elements.

I asked Junji, "Junji do you know what are these huge faces around us?"

Then I faced Junji, but I saw that he was shocked because he didn't expect to see the this faces that are surruonding us.

"Wow! Here's what I read about the attribute of the people... which we have an attribute power that is hiding within our body which is discovered after the destruction of our land!" 

Truthfully, Fenix is not interested in the history of this world because he don't have time to waste when it comes to learning about history, so he don't have knowledge about their history.

Luckily, he have Junji's knowledge. Unlike Fenix, Junji is more on books, he is one of the top student in their school, and he almost perfect all his subjects except those subject that has concern in physical activities.

So, when it comes to this kind of situation that Fenix don't have a knowledge about, he automatically asking Junji about this matter.

While all of us were impressed with the visible faces that was constructed in different attributes, suddenly many teachers appeared in front of us, they are our teacher and the teacher of another sections.

Then the Headteacher finally appeared, he stepped five times forward and said, "I know you're all here ready for your exam, so before we start our exam, happy advance congratulations to all of you because next month all of you here will meet your seniors and become a new student or what we call, starters in the school."

In school, students have four types of positions. This is the :

* Starter = no star (no any access on any medium and high information in school, only access is the first floor of the library and basic teachings of the school)

* Outer Student = 1 star (also no access in any high info in school but have an access in second floor of the library, have extra pill, also teachings of school.)

* Inner Student = 2 star (same to the outer student but in additional he or she will have their own master that will guide and help them in their cultivation)

* Primary Student = 3 star (Main team of the school that will be the representative of the school in every Tournament, have the full support of the school and have access to all buildings except to the buildings of the teachers, headteachers, and the Dean.)

Most of the students started talk and congratulating each other about to what they hear.

We are all excited because nothing will be left out and we will be able to meet with our seniors and the Outer Student at the same time, also, we will have a big opportunity to learn advance teachings and martial arts and reach what we assume to become, even if we fail this test, we are still going to a more advance school.

"Ehem-ehem!"

As everyone was very happy, one of the big faces that was formed of fire made a sound to interrupt us and to keep us silent so we can now continue our exams.

We were surprised when the big faces moved and spoke, for this reason we were silent because of the sound that interrupted us.

When our teachers and Headteacher heard it, then the Headteacher immediately released his staff and lifted it and stuck it on the floor of the arena.

At first nothing happened but after three to five seconds, the floor was suddenly move and became made of wood that earlier the the floor was made of rock, and for another five seconds, the middle of the arena suddenly a huge tree started to erupt.

The three is looks like a holy tree, with the glittering of golden light that is floating around it, and having an excellent warmth feeling that made us comfortable and calm down. It is truly majestic!

If we students was amazed earlier because of the faces we see around us before, now, we are even more impressed by the Headteacher showing his power.

The Headteacher spoke in front of us, "Now I'm announcing the test has begun!"

The Headteacher raised his staff with a smooth crystal on the handle with its antique color and on top of the staff has a medium size pearl.

"Yeaaaaahhhh!"

All of the students except me shouted loudly as if we were not been silenced by one of the big faces earlier.

Our teacher walked in front of us, decide to call us one by one and sent us to the big tree. The same with the other teachers in their advisory section.

As the students were coming from different sections, the big tree released the rods like a mini staff of our Headteacher. The Headteacher shouts, "Hold the rod so hard as you can and when your power is weakening you must let go the rod if you do not want to be hit by the tree... while holding the rod tight, the tree will dump the fruits, the fruits that the tree dumps, is equivalent to your spirit power."

The first group has started gripping the rods and... success and no one was hurt. The student who was called in our section had 9 spirit power, the same as the others and the lowest had only reached the spirit power of 7 down but not exceeding the 10 spirit power.

In the second group, our teacher called Junji. He was nervous and excited walking towards the big tree, he held the rod tightly, and heard the sound that was in eight count,

* Tud-tud-tud-tud ... *

When he was weak, he open his eyes and he saw was eight fruits. He still wants to continue handling but the big tree suddenly moves and one of the student on his group was hit and fall heavily back almost about 40 to 50 meters and because of what happened, Junji immediately let go his grasp on the stick and took the fruits that had been dropped on the floor.

Junji is sadly walking back. We noticed this fellow was sad, then one of our classmate, Jane told him, "Junji, do not be so sad, even if your spirit power was not high you still has mind that we don't have."

Our teacher smiled because of what Jane said, so Jane was called for the next group. He said to himself, 'let see what is the spirit power of the daughter of the Haysey Clan Leader.'

Jane's batch walked towards the tree, Jane hold the rod, a few seconds later Jane's fruit collapsed one by one.

Everyone was astonished, as did the looks of us change. We were all surprised by the fact that we counted Jane pick-up the fruits. The fruits are at 12, meaning 12 is the spirit power of Jane.

It's normal for us to be surprised but the teachers, Headteacher and those big faces around are also surprised, it's not just because they first time to saw someone reach a 12 spirit power, in fact, 13 was the max spirit power of those aged 12-13.

The reason is that each year or batch, it's just one genius and only male that reach the spirit power from 11 to 13. Meaning Jane was the first female genius that pass trough 10 spirit power from founding of the Holy City to their era.

"As what I expected! She is the only daughter of the patriarch of the second rank family." The faces of the teachers, headteacher, and those elders we're satisfied.

When Jane's group ended, the following groups didn't have any good news.
