Chapter 3

The next day Gina got up late, enjoying her sleep in. She walked into her kitchen, grabbing the kettle, filled it up and put it onto boil, as she was waiting for the kettle, she received a phone call from her agent, Carly Stewart, saying that there was some modeling work for her from Millers Fashion & Makeup. Gina listened as Carly told her all about it. Moreover, when she had finished Gina told her that she met up with Tyler Miller yesterday and he had offered it to her then, but she declined.
"Why would you do a thing like that for? You have the world at your feet if you do that job for Millers," exclaimed Carly who was sitting at her desk looking at the contract that Tyler had sent to her.

Gina sighed; she knew this would happen, "Yes, I know that. However, the problem is Tyler Miller, not the fashion spread. He wants my body between the sheets of his bed, not in his clothes," replied Gina.

"Well," said Carly smiling, "why are you holding back for that, I mean he supposes to be good in bed."
"Well be that it may if he is, but I'm not going to be used in that way. I want to get my life back in order," said Gina, "I'm thinking about going on a holiday where I can get some rest and get ready for Paris fashion show."
"Where are you going then in case I have to get in touch with you, something important may come up," asked Carly, looking up as the door opened from the outer office and Tyler Miller walked in, he started to say something but Carly quickly made a hand signal to stop him.
"I know that you are busy, so I will be quick. I am going up to see Sophie Gray in Queensland. I'll call you when I get there," said Gina.
"Gina, where in Queensland?" asked Carly with a frown, she knew Gina was not telling her something, she wondered if had to do with Tyler.
Gina hesitated and then said, "Ipswich."
"Ok Gina, do not forget to ring me, I have to go, bye," said Carly hanging up the phone. Then she looked at Tyler on the other side of the desk, "What did you do to her yesterday?" she asked.
"Nothing you need to know. Why is she going to Queensland?" asked Tyler, just when I thought I was getting somewhere with her, she does this, thought Tyler.
"You must have hurt her really bad Tyler when you dumped her for Janelle. You just cannot pick things up from where you left off. You know Gina is the sensitive type of girl, she was really in love with you, but I think you really stuffed up," Carly paused shaking her head over the memories of Gina during the break-up, she was a mess. "When she started seeing pictures of you and Janelle, with you away a lot, in some ways, I think she did not know what to do. She did not have you there to reassure her, you can't blame her for leaving the way she did," Carly could see now why Gina was trying to get away. "You must see how much she is hurting Tyler, just what did you say to Gina yesterday that is making her run today?" Carly questioned while watching him. "Come on Tyler, I would like to know?"
"Ok, we both dropped our guards last night and made love, I told her that I love her. However, after we had finished she turned around and told me to go back to Janelle and that she did not want to be my mistress, I could not believe she said that. I thought what we had their last night was beautiful, I have never felt like that with anyone but Gina," answered Tyler frustrated.
"I'd say there is more to this conversation than you are saying," replied Carly, "but what you just said to me, you should be saying to Gina. But be careful with her, she is very confused about her feelings."
"If she finds out that I am going to Brisbane she will change her plans so quickly that we both will not know where she is," said Tyler looking at Carly. "I have a problem at the office in Brisbane to deal with, just do not tell her please," he begged her.
"Do not look at me, I will not be telling her where you are. However, you are going to have to wait until she gets there because she is going to ring me when she gets there. She is staying with her best friend, Sophie Gray. So maybe you could go up there and book into a hotel and give me a call, by then she would have rung and left her address with me. However, take it easy this is not going to happen overnight. You have to give her space so she can work out her feelings as well," Carly said to him warily.
"Thanks, Carly," sighed Tyler, "I knew I could depend on you," said Tyler walking out the door.
I hope I have done the right thing thought Carly as she watched Tyler walked out the door, if those two worked things out it would be great.
