Chapter 14

Tyler looked at Gina and realized that he could not wait any longer. 

He walked over to Gina, taking something out of his pocket as he went, he bent down on one knee Krissy, Susan and Shannon gasped, Gina looked stunned, "Gina, I have walked around for the last eighteen months with this in my pocket," he said opening the small box, inside was the most gorgeous ring that Gina had ever seen, "Would you do the honor of becoming my wife, the other part of my soul?"

Gina felt the tears gather in her eyes, she quickly blinked them away, "Yes," she said, "Yes, yes, yes a thousand times yes," she said as he quickly slipped the ring on her finger, a perfect fit too. She threw her arms around his shoulders, pulled him in, and kissed him, deeply, "You have always had my heart, it has only ever been yours, even when we were apart," she whispered to him after they draw apart.

Shannon and Krissy squealed together, Gina and Tyler pulled apart and looked over to her family, her Mum was crying and Dad was so proud, Matt and Mark were just as pleased.

"Oh my god, Gina that was so beautiful," said Shannon, "Can I have a look at your ring?" Gina lifted it up and showed her, "Oh gosh, it is so beautiful. Oh, Gina, I am so happy for you, even after everything I did to you."

Gina leaned over and gave Shannon a hug, "It's okay, and all is forgotten, we will get the other fixed up for you so that you can get on with your life also. Oh god, Shannon, I'm engaged to the man of my dreams," Gina couldn't control her excitement.

Shannon laughed and hugged her again. "I know sis, I know," she laughed again, next Krissy was over with them and giving Gina a hug and started gushing over her ring. By the time she finished Susan was there and giving her a hug and looking at her ring, Tyler was not far away but surrounded by Matt, Mark and her Dad and they were shaking his hand.

"Time for a celebration drink, I think," said Geoffrey after he finished giving Gina a hug, "Matt can you open the two bottles of Champagne in the fridge please?" he asked and went over and got the glasses. After Matt had opened the champagne and filled the glasses, he made sure everyone had their glasses, Geoffrey turned to Gina and Tyler, raising his glass he said, "Congratulations Tyler and Gina, may you have a very successful marriage, and to a man, who knows his own mind and protects his family, also in saying that, I am going to add, welcome to the family."

"Here, here," replied everyone. They raised their glasses and lightly tapped them together taking them back and took a sip, Gina looked up at Tyler and smiled at him over glass rim. She loved him and was not afraid of everyone seeing it. Tyler winked, she knew what that meant and could not wait for later when they were alone together again. She shivered, and her smile grew more. 

In watching her, Tyler knew what she was thinking and leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I want you?" Gina felt his breath go right through her body, her toes curled in her shoes, her hand trembled, her nipple went erect in her bra, and she could even feel herself go wet between her legs, Tyler put his arm around her and pulled her back against him, he whispered again, "God Gina, stop. You have me hard in my pants in front of your parents," Gina giggled, and rubbed herself up against him, Tyler groaned under his breath, "You wait for later honey."

Gina smiled,  "Promise you won't forget," she said she gave him a quick kiss and turned back around and looked at her family who were still celebrating, even Shannon had a smile on her face and was happy. She knew the with everyone's help the Shannon was going to overcome her obstacles that life put in front of her, now that she knows the family is there supporting her. We just need to finish this last obstacle for her, move it right out of her life so she can begin to live it again.

Tyler squeezed her waist, "No, I won't forget,' he said in her ear, "Neither have your family, the mood needed to be lightened, but I also wanted your family to know that I love you and wanted to marry you even before all this happened."
