Nine-thirty, the next morning and Gina was looking out the window waiting for Tyler.
"Gina, the way you're pacing and watching the window you would think this is your first date," Sophie said smiling, she could not believe the way Gina was acting, and then when Gina saw him she began fidgeting with her clothes and hair that it made Sophie think it really was their first date.
"Oh, he is here. Do I look ok?" gasped Gina as she quickly moved away from the window so Tyler didn't see her.
"You look great, and so does he. Man, Gina where did you have him hidden," said Sophie as she watched Tyler get out of the car and walked up the driveway to the door, he looked better in the front than looking at his back, Gina stopped preening and really looked at Tyler.
"Yeah, he's not that bad," answered Gina biting her bottom lip to stop it quivering.
"NOT BAD! Gina! You need your eyes checked. He's drop dead gorgeous," gasped Sophie bringing Gina out of her daze.
"Ok, ok. He is gorgeous. I would do anything if I got a sign that he loves me," replied Gina laughing but Sophie could see the yearning in her eyes as well.
"Well hang on to him because he's the best catch going," replied Sophie as she caught the longing in Gina's voice and eyes.
Then the doorbell rang, Tyler was a little anxious this morning, thinking Gina was going to pull out at the last minute. He really could not believe what he heard last night when Gina offered to help him find a place to take the photo shoot, she seemed to know so much about the place as well.
"Hello Tyler, you got here okay," said Gina as she answered the door, excited that she was going out with Tyler, away from his workplace and people trying to take his attention all the time.
"Gina, are you ready to go?" asked Tyler, as he looked Gina over thinking how beautiful she looked in her denim jeans, and multi-colored blouse.
"Yes. Did you get everything for the picnic?" asked Gina looking Tyler over and trying to hold back the longing.
"Yes, the hotel caters have taken care of it, and I must say it looks very inviting," replied Tyler as he got his body under control after getting a whiff of her perfume.
"Ok then, let's get the show on the road," said Gina as she grabbed her coat and overnight bag, turned to Sophie, and told her where they were going and that they would be back late.
"Make that late tonight, I'll be taking you out to dinner," replied Tyler as he listened to Gina and Sophie talk.
Taking her coat and bag Tyler opened the front passenger door for Gina, he closed the door and then opened the back door placed her coat and bag next to his on the seat and then move around the driver's side and got in.
"I hope you can get me out of here because I still don't know where I'm going," said Tyler as he did up his seatbelt and started the car.
"Easy," replied Gina, "Get back on the road that will take you to Toowoomba follows that until you see the sign saying Cherrybar Homestead and turn there. Then about five kilometers from the turnoff is the homestead," replied Gina as Tyler did a u-turn and went back to the highway.
"You seem to know the place very well, why is that?" asked Tyler as he pulled out onto the highway and start to pick-up some speed.
"My father is Alan Morsteads great-great-grandson and they live on the property," said Gina as she made herself comfortable and tried not to stare at Tyler. He could not believe it, she was here and taking him to see her parents, Tyler was stunned, Gina was taking him to her home, he was going to meet her parents! Tyler could not believe it; he really was not expecting this, "My father built another house beside the homestead and Mum and Dad live there," she continued to explain to him covering the nervousness of Tyler coming home with her.
