"Call an ambulance Tyler," said Gina while checking Sophie over, she had bruises forming along her chin on both sides of her face, marks forming around her neck, her clothing was not looking really good either. Tyler grabbed his phone and quickly dialled emergency, asking for an ambulance at Sophie's address, saying that they had found her unconscious on the floor with bruising forming around her neck and jawline. The whole time Tyler was talking, Gina held Sophie's and whispered "I'm here Soph, I'm here," not really listening to what Tyler was saying to the responder.

In no time the ambulance arrived, Tyler leaving them both for a moment to direct them into the house and down to the bedroom, the paramedics quickly worked on Sophie, checking her vitals, gently checking for any broken bones, placing her neck in a brace, then with the help from Tyler and Gina placed her on a backboard and then onto a gurney, they gathered their equipment and began moving her out to their vehicle.

"Can I go with you?" Gina asked them beside the ambulance.

"Yes," came the response, "be quick."

Gina looked at Tyler, he nodded, "Go, I'll lock up and grab some clothes for her."

"Thanks," Gina said then turned and got into the back of the ambulance to be with Sophie, once she was in and the door closed, the ambulance took off towards the hospital.

Tyler quickly went back inside, walked down to Sophie's room, found a bag in her cupboard, put some underwear, bra's, he grabbed some pj's and a blouse and pants, socks, slippers and flats in the bag, zipped it an and made his way to the front door, placing the bag down at the front door, moved to the kitchen making sure the door was locked and windows shut, doing the same for the rest of the house, walking back to the front door, grabbed Sophie's handbag and keys along with her luggage and stepped out the front door, put the luggage down and pulled the door closed behind him making sure it was locked behind him. Grabbing the luggage bag, he walked down the steps and over to his car, popping the boot he placed both bags into the boot then closed it.

"Excuse me," came a female voice to the right, Tyler looked over to the fence and notice Sophie's neighbor standing there looking quite distressed, "Is Sophie alright," she asked.

"Not quite sure madam," Tyler said to her, "she was unconscious the whole time we were here," Tyler informed.

"It was Carl," she told him becoming quite upset.

"Carl?" asked Tyler with a frown.

"Her boyfriend, he was here earlier," she shuddered, "there was so much yelling, I was becoming quite concerned, but then he left."

Tyler frowned at this information and wondered if Gina had heard anything about it, "thank you for letting me know," Tyler said to her, "I must get going to the hospital."

Gina could feel the shock of seeing Sophie lying on the floor leaving her system, she was able to give the paramedic Sophie details as they drove down the streets towards the hospital, her hand gently on Sophie's head wanting the contact.

A groan came from Sophie, Gina sat forward.

"Sophie?" Gina asked, the paramedic checked the machines and then glanced down at Sophie.

"Gina," Sophie moaned out and then gasped at the jolt of pain going through her.

"I'm here Sophie," Gina said to her, "we are on our way to the hospital."

"Nah," groaned Sophie and then passed out, Gina looked at the paramedic.

"She's stable," he told her, "she most likely passed out from the pain." Gina let out the breath she was unaware of holding, "we are in the hospital now," he told her, Gina nodded.
