Home, thought Gina Marshwell as she walked off the plane in Sydney. Well, nearly home, the modelling agency was pleased with her last assignment. Some of the swimsuits she modelled were gorgeous. Home was in Queensland, just outside of Brisbane. However, she had not been home for a while, not since the Shannon told me that her life would be a lot simpler if I was not in it. What a day that had been, emotional, well we will not go there. I wonder how the family is going. I really need to go home and sort things out. Shannon and I cannot keep going on like this. I might ring Mum tonight and see how everyone is.
While thinking about this Gina made her way through the airport to the baggage terminal and waited for her luggage, while there someone jostled her from behind.
"Sorry," replied a deep masculine voice, Gina froze, she had not heard that voice for eighteen months. However, the memories came flooding back, two bodies, naked lying together on a king size bed with gold satin sheets moving as one. Sensually moving, whispered words, faintest of caresses, there was magic in that room every time they were together. Just the brush of their bodies would ignite their flame, for it burned hotter than most, stronger? Well, I thought it did, thought Gina ironically, coming out of the memory to look around at where the voice came from.
Tyler Miller, founder of Millers Fashion and Make-up six foot 3 inches, dark wavy hair and eyes the colour of the deep sea blue. Broad shoulders and firm chest, he was very athletic built with long legs, he was dressed in a double – breasted suit, white shirt and a tie that stood out. He was every inch of a powerful businessperson. However, he had not reached that status when they had known each other they were pretty much starting out together, her modelling and Tyler, his business. Things were going well until his company took off and became the most successful fashion and make-up business in the world today. Then the problems happened, women ringing all hours of the night, Tyler away for long periods and then the pictures started arriving. Working was one thing, but playing the field was another. Even though Tyler denied the pictures, they had done their damage with Gina walking out and moving to Paris to fulfil her dream as a model.
"That's, ok," replied Gina, she really did not want Tyler recognizing her but he did stop, he recognize her voice straight away. He turned and looked, Gina Marshwell was still every inch of the woman he remembered, with long wavy blonde hair that curled around her face, her eyes, they would set a man's blood on fire, a very deep emerald green, and her mouth looked like she had just been thoroughly kissed, shaded in a soft pink, just the look of them, there was a tightening in his groin.
"Gina! Is that you?" asked Tyler.
Gina sighed; I should not have opened my mouth. She looked at him for the first time in eighteen months. Boy, had he changed. He looked good, filled out in the right places, looking even sexier than he did then. Oh boy, does he look good. Get a grip girl that is old news. Your over him, he hurt you.
"Tyler!" exclaimed Gina, "I'm surprised to see you here. I thought you would be busy getting prepared for Paris Fashion Week," said Gina.
"I have other people to do that, I am here looking for you," replied Tyler, "I never thought I would bump into you here. Are you coming or going?"
"I've just arrived," answered Gina, not sure at where this conversation was going.
Tyler looked at her, then seeing that she had received all her luggage asked, "Would you like to have a coffee with me? There is something I want to ask you."
Very curious now Gina replied, "Sure, we can get one from over there."
They moved over to the coffee shop off to the side of the airport. They found a table and sat down and a waiter came over and asked for their order, after receiving it, Gina looked at Tyler and asked, "What is it that you wanted?" Tyler looked at her, you, he thought but instead said, "I have a new line coming out and I would like you to be the model for the shoot. It is a new range of make-up and clothing." He paused as the waiter place their tea and coffee in front of them. Gina was stunned; she never thought this would happen.
While she was sitting there thinking, Tyler was watching her closely, he saw the flicker of surprise. He watched her eyes change colour from a clear green, to a stormy green, the same colour the ocean looks when a storm was brewing, she still as beautiful as always. The eighteen months had done her well. Her body had filled out more, and her legs look longer than they use to. I wonder if her body is still the creamy white and silky smooth to touch. She looked so beautiful lying on his bed, Tyler felt his body stir at the thought, "I've looked over other models but they won't do, I need you to promote this range."
"What change your mind? You would not use me eighteen months ago. You do not need me when you have Janelle ready and waiting for you. She has told everybody in the modelling industry that when you want a model it would be her doing it. Therefore, you had better make her happy, or I will pay for it her way." Gina explained to him, not that she was concerned about Janelle, she could handle her any day of the year. Just being around Tyler and the memories is becoming quite difficult. "I have to go, I have just gotten off a six-hour flight after an assignment that what could go wrong did. I'm sorry but I can't do it for you Tyler," replied Gina; her shock now replaced with anger. How dare him, he knew I wanted this, two years ago, it would have launched my career soon than later, but he does it now, why and why does it feel like slap in the face now. Gina then got up from the table, retrieved her bags and walked out of the airport to a waiting taxi.
Tyler was still sitting at the table looking after her as she got into the taxi and drove away. He could not think why she was acting so peculiar. As much as I would like to fix up this problem with Gina, I have a much bigger one brewing at the main office in Brisbane. Models are not happy and the word is getting out, but it is not just them either. There are things floating around the office that need checking out also. First, set a meeting up with Ralph, being Head of Security, he is going to know some secrets and stories of the office. Personal may know something also, Martha Kelsey, has eyes and ears all over the place.
What is going on in my office that has all the women up in arms? thought Tyler as he pulled his mobile out of his pocket, "Amber," he said after the first ring. "Could you set up a meeting with Ralph Knight and Martha Kelsey please? I want to talk to them first thing Thursday morning. I am in Sydney now, being as late as it is I will stay here and fly up tomorrow after seeing some friends down here."
"Ok boss," came Amber's reply "Will do it once you hang up, everything is still crazy here, I have six more complaints this morning but none of the girls have identified the person that is doing this."
"Damn it," replied Tyler as he dragged his hand through his hair, he didn't need this just before fashion week in Paris.
