I'm supposed to have a plan?

Hey guys, Gh0stwr1t3r here,

Yes, I do realise it's been forever since I update and yes, I do realise some of you started believing I was dead and no, unfortunately for you, I am still alive. I know you've waited long for this, so let's just get crackin.

Percy POV

I didn't even take a sip of my drink before Joker's men were already waisted. It disgusted me how quickly they got drunk and then if they did something stupid, joker would shoot them because they were interupting the conversation that we were not having.

Well I guess that's what happens when you stay in Gotham for too long.

You get people like Batman and Joker and other weirdos like that. And then, in time, you also become a weirdo.

Sheesh, is it really that hard to be normal?

I looked up with a startled expression when I heard another gunshot and another body drop.

I grunted and looked away.

"So as I was saying...." and Joker continued the story that he was telling, which I wasn't really listening to.

I pretended to be fascinated by his story, but really, I wanted him to shut up.

I needed to get out of here, but trying to escape a sociopathic man with a gun was probably a bad idea, so I stayed put.

And, besides, I didn't want that girl to get killed because of me.

"Hey, Joker?" I finally asked. Joker looked up from his drink and stopped muttering about how he once almost killed the batman.

"Yeeeesss?" He made fake googly eyes. The alcohol smell in his breath almost made me gag. I really wasn't into alcohol at all.

"Can we go? It was fun and all, but I'm really tired right now." I made that up.

"Sure thing, kiddo. Where do you wanna go? A strip club? The abandoned fair grounds?" He smiled maniacally and pushed himself up from the table.

"No, I was thinking maybe to your place. You know, where you're keeping that girl you kidnapped?"

"Oh, I knew you were eventually going to ruin the fun. Kids these days. They're permanently on their phones so they never see what's funny about life. They're stupid that way. "

"I'm not. Besides, weren't we gonna go to your place anyways?" I tried, but a sudden beeping sound went off and Joker cursed. You kinda get used to cussing when you're with the Joker for more than an hour.

"What's the matter?" I questioned.

"Leaguers where I don't want them to be. Oh well, I guess we should get going. I don't want them to snoop around my stuff." He turned around and started to leave. I jogged up to him.

"You're joining? Oh, well this might be fun after all."

"Yeah. Loads of fun." I muttered under my breath.

"Oh, don't be a sad sack. You'll be able to help me beat people up. And after that we can get another drink and we can take the girl with if you like her."he tried to reassure me, but I still felt uneasy. Was it possible that I'd already chosen a side without knowing?

I called shotgun and climbed in without thinking twice.

If I go with joker, the heroes will think I betrayed them. If I go against joker, he will think I betrayed him. Maybe I should go against both sides so both sides hate me?

------------------------------------------------------

Joker had to blindfold me, but he didn't act like it would distract me from his nonstop talking. His house or lair or whatever it's called must've been some kind of big secret. I tried not to feel offended that he didn't trust me after I watched him kill roundabout ten people and said nothing, just looked away disgustedly.
