Hey guys, Gh0stwr1t3r here,

I have been procrastinating. I've been busy and lazy and whatever more. I have been watching Supernatural and sleeping until noon. I am sorry that I haven't updated until now. I got a new tablet and now I am struggling to get my wattpad account over to it. It is going to be a while until I get back to writing,  so sorry. I am updating now just so I could get over the sad part and move on. Plus I have like seven books to read before school starts up again and I honestly have no idea what to read first.

But enough excuses. I have updated and that's what matters.

So keep voting and commenting and

NEVER STOP BEING AWESOME!

Gh0stwr1t3r out!

"I'm sorry. She will never be able to walk again." The doctor said to me in the hallway next to Annabeth's room.

"You promised me you'd do anything and everything to assure that she stays well." I growled. The sun was already rising and I had been waiting for any news in the waiting room. I have to be honest, I was hoping for better news.

"We did everything we could. The bullet penetrated her spinal cord. There is nothing else that could've been done. I'm sorry. " the doctor put a sympathetical hand on my shoulder and walked past me. I stood there for a moment in silence before I turned around and shouted, "doctor!"

He whirled around and looked at me.

"Do her parents know?"  I asked softly. The doctor let his head hang like an ashamed puppy.

"I called them several times. They never answered." He told me.

Annabeth had told me that her parents were never there for her, but I never thought they wouldn't even come see their daughter in the hospital. Especially if she's been hurt really bad.

I sighed.

"Can I go in?" I asked, looking at my feet.

"Yes, you can come in" the doctor replied. He opened the door for me.

Such a nice gentleman, I thought sarcastically.

I stepped into the room and nearly didn't even recocnise her.

Annabeth was as pale as a ghost, her hair was an oily mess on her pillow, her hands were tucked beneath the sheets which covered her entire body up to her neck. Annabeth's eyes were closed and her lips were as white as snow.

And gods she even looked beautiful like that.

I grabbed a chair and sat next to her bed and squeezed her hand.

She didn't move.

I squeezed again.

This time, I could feel a little bit of pressure coming from her fingertips, softly squeezing my hand back.

"Thank gods." I sighed.

Her eyelids started to flicker open and her tired, stormy grey eyes looked right at me. Annabeth's lips started to curl into a small smile, before she tried to speak, but nothing came out.

"Shh. Don't try to talk." I grabbed the glass of water from the bedside table and held the straw for her to drink. "Drink some water."

Gratefully, she closed her lips around the straw and took a few sips before she opened her mouth again and gave me a painful toothy grin.

"It's okay, seaweed brain.  I can speak now." She croaked.

"How are you feeling?" I asked softly.
