"Sorry, Mr. Humbert. Ms. Mills had to talk to me." Emma said before she went to change. In leggings and an oversized shirt, she went into the gym again and went straight to her best friends.

"Look who is happy again. Had a nice talk?" Ruby smirked

Emma playfully punched her an answered:" The best." Then she winked at her. Ruby didn't expect that and was speechless. But a few moments later she started to talk again:" Really Em?! What was it all about???"

Emma didn't want to answer because she didn't know how her friend would react and how Regina would if she found out that someone else knew it. So she just remained silent.

"Em??? You can't just say something like that and then don't tell us the full story!" Ruby whined.

Emma looked at the two brunets and then said:" Okay. At 6 at my house. But now let's make sports" Emma was in the best mood for sport. She started to run.

*At Emmas home*

"Okay Em! You have to tell us what happened!" Ruby said curious and Belle added:" Yeah! I barely ever saw you so happy!"

"Okay, so I told you a few weeks ago that I had a crush on Miss Mills, right?" Emma started.

"Yeah, sweetie everyone could see that! I mean you stared holes into her body!" Ruby laughed.

"Yeah anyway. I asked her on Friday if she was gay and then went away." Ruby's and Belle's mouth fell open.

"That's why I was so weird today. I didn't want to face her. She gave me that note." Emma gave the note to her friends and when they were done reading she continued:" She was so cute! She asked me why I was so embarrassed and that I didn't have to be because I didn't do anything wrong. And then she said yes, she was gay." The girls both couldn't do anything. They were too overwhelmed so Emma just continued:" She than asked me why I asked that question and I told her that I liked her and she said she liked me too! I mean can you believe that?!"

"Actually no... Emma are you sure you didn't dream?" Ruby giggled.

Emma shot her an angry look and Ruby than said:" Just a joke, Em! Woah that's pretty cool!"

Belle just sat there. Her mouth was still open. "Belle are you ok?" Emma asked

"Uhh... Yeah 'course! What the...?! I am so happy for you, Em!"

"Thanks girls! But you can't tell anyone! Promise?"

"I Promise" Ruby and Belle said at the same time. All girls started to lough loud.

The next few days, Emma didn't get to talk to Regina. Regina sometimes smiled at her during class but that was it. She was so happy when Friday finally came! She woke up when her alarm clock rang and jumped out of bed immediately. She went into the bathroom and washed her hair. She let her conditioner last extra-long so it would smell longer. She let her hair try naturally like she always did and went to her wardrobe.

Emma decided to wear some black skinny jeans, a cute blouse and black dr. martens.

She ran out of the house at 7.15 and went to Rubys'.

"There you are. I thought you would come earlier." She smirked at Emma. "And  nice outfit by the way."

*6 hours later*

Emma rushed to Reginas classroom and took a deep breath before she went in. Her heart beats way too fast and Emma was very nervous. What would Regina do? Would they still talk about maths? Probably yes... She was a teacher....

She walked in and Regina immediately smiled at her and, man, she looked gorgeous! Her make up was perfect as always, so were her hair and that outfit... It was breathtaking. She wore a red blouse and a tight pencil skirt. And, of course, the black heels. She loved the outfit.

"Hello, dear. Come here." She said and Emma walked to the chair. She sat down and didn't know what to do. So she just took out her maths stuff.

"So you just want to do maths? I thought you wanted to talk?" Regina giggled.

Emma blushed and stuttered:" Yeah... Uhmm no I don't want to do maths! I.... I'd love to talk." Regina found it pretty cute when Emma was nervous around her. She smiled at Emma and said:" So I thought about what we said on Monday..." She made a short pause and Emma got nervous. As did Regina.

"Do you... I mean are you sure that's what you want? Me being your girlfriend? Because I don't want to push you... and the thought of making you feel uncomfortable... I wouldn't like that."

Girlfriend... Emma liked that word. "I'd love to be your girlfriend! Honestly... I was excited about talking to you the whole week!" Emma admitted.

"Good, dear. I was too. So I think we should talk about a few things. First, you know that you can't tell anyone about us, don't you? I know, you probably already told your best friends and if you truly trust them that's ok but it has to be a secret. Otherwise I have to go to jail."

"Woah... you know me really well! I am impressed, Miss Mills!" Emma said

Regina giggled and took Emmas hand.

"Now I need you to be completely honest ok?" Regina said firmly and squeezed Emmas hand.

Emma just nodded and Regina started talking:" So I know that you are a pretty innocent little bird." She winked and Emma blushed. "I have to admit that I am not, so I want you to tell me what you like and what you don't like. And whenever something makes you feel uncomfortable I want you to tell me and not run away! Is that clear, dear?" Regina said strict but sympatric.

"Umm... Yeah..." Emma was very nervous!

"You don't feel comfortable, do you dear?" Regina asked

Emma shook her head no and look down. She felt a finger under her chin and looked up. Directly into the beautiful brown eyes. "That's ok, dear. How about we talk about that another time and now we learn maths? I don't want you to fail MY class!" Regina said soft. Emma giggled about the way she pronounced the 'my'.

The rest of the lesson they just sat there and Reginaexplained Emma the tasks. The only difference was, that Regina still held Emmas hand. Every time her thumb stroke above Emmas hand she felt her heart skip abeat.
