The grip around her hand loosened and Emmas heart began to beat faster. She fought herself out of her mothers grip and stood up. They would leave her like everyone else did.

"I am sorry I shouldn't have told you. It was nice meeting you." Emma said and was about to run out of the room.

"Emma! Wait!" Mary Magaret said and griped Emmas arm. The woman realized that she couldn't question her daughter now. She needed support.

Emma slowly turned around, tears threatening to roll down her cheeks. The long blond hair covered her face but Mary Margaret could still see the single tear escaping her eye.

"Please... Emma sit down."

Emma hesitated but slowly did as she was told. Mary Margaret lay her arm around Emmas shoulder.

"It's ok, honey." The brunette whispered and a relived sob escaped Emmas lips as all the tears she had left rolled down her cheeks and she cuddled into her mothers shoulder. A dark wet spot formed on the woman's bright brown cardigan as Emma held on to her mother for dear life.

The blond felt a soothing hand rubbing down her arm. She looked up and saw David standing next to her.

"It's ok, sweetheart." he whispered again and again.

"I think we have to talk about this." Mary Margaret said because she really was curious. "Can I ask you a question?"

Emma nodded.

"Why- When- I mean... How did you umm find out?" Mary Margaret stumbled.

"I don't... I... umm... It was the first day of school I guess..." Emma answered as she wiped her tears away with the sleeve of her cardigan.

"Ohh... my baby has a crush!" the older womans eyes sparkled proudly.

"I saw her in my first class on Monday and she is beautiful!" a smile formed on Emmas lips as she talked about Regina and Mary Margaret started to smile too, as she saw how happy Emma looked as she talked about that girl.

"She has beautiful eyes and- Nevermind." Emma stopped herself as she realized who she was talking to. She couldn't give away too much.

Mary Margaret chuckled and squeezed Emma softly. "How did you meet her?"

"After what happened with Kilian, I ran-" Emma made a small pause realizing that she had to change the story a little bit. "to the toilet and there she stood. I didn't realize she was there at first but then she sat down next to me and just sat there. She listened to me and... she just cared about me."

"She sounds great, honey!" Mary Margaret smiled.

"She really is." Emma sighed.

"I am glad you told us honey." David smiled and added "At least she can't be unintentionally pregnant." He squeezed Emmas arm and the girl chuckled.

Emma wiped her tears away and stood up. Both adults did the same.

"Mum? Dad? Thank you! You are the best!" she smiled and hugged them hard and long.

The girl finally felt like she belonged.
