A month later, Emmas parents were going to go on holidays and Emma would be alone at home for four days. She planed to ask Regina if she could sleep at her place again.

On Monday she jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. She had never been so happy to go to school ever before. Today Mary Magaret and David would drive away.

Emma went down the stairs and her parents already waited for her. With two big suitcases and a few bags, they stood at the door.

"Finally... Emma, we should already be gone for 15 minutes!" David said as he saw Emma.

"I'm sorry, dad." Emma said as she hugged him and then Mary Magaret.

"Have fun and don't worry about me. I'll be fine." Emma said before they left the house.

The blonde ran out the door a few minutes later and made her way to Grannys. She picked up Ruby and together they went to School.

After Emmas last lesson, the student ran into her maths class. What she didn't expect were three students having detention in her girlfriends class.

Regina and the three other boys stared at Emma and Emma stared at them. After a moment the blonde found her words again and stuttered:" Umm... Miss Mills... Umm..."

Emma didn't know what to say and then Reginas angry and strict voice interrupted her.

"Nice of you to join us, Miss Swan. One more hour of detention for you!"

Detention? Well done, Regina. The girl thought as she slowly closed the door behind her.

"I am sorry, Miss Mills. It won't happen again." Emma said fast before she sat down in the last row.

Regina nodded and turned her attention back to her sheets.

After half an hour Emma was bored to death. She already studied all the people in the room and none of them was nearly as pretty as Regina. Then she took out a pencil and played with it but got bored again and then she just looked at the clock and watched the pointer move slowly with every second that past.

As she couldn't take it any longer she took out her phone. She hid it under her desk and gazed at Regina. She was still focused on her papers.

Then Emma slowly started to type.

15.27pm

E: Couldn't you think of a better excuse then detention?! I am bored to death here!

She sent the message and put her phone under her desk again as her eyes were set on the brunette.

Her phone buzzed and Regina looked angrily through the class. She just wanted to say something as she realized it was her phone. She took it and read the message.

Then she looked at Emma and rolled her eyes.

15.31pm

R: At least I didn't stood there and was like 'Umm... Hi...' You could have knocked like any other normal human being...

Emma read the message and blushed a little as she got a second message.

15.32pm

R: And if you are so bored you can solve pages 264 - 268 in your maths book. ;) I'll look through it when detention is over.

Emma rolled her eyes and typed a new message.

15.33pm

E: Not a single chance that I will do maths now! Can't you just continue texting me?

Reginas phone buzzed again and she read the message. Then she looked at the blond again and put her teachers face on.

"Miss Swan!" The loud voice echoed through the room and Emma shrugged.

"That's it. Please hand me your phone!"

Emmas eyes widened. She looked at her girlfriend in disbeliever and slowly stood up. All eyes were on her as she moved to her teacher's desk. The three other students shot her pity looks but didn't say anything.

As Emma sat down again, she immediately felt bored again so she took out her maths book and read through the first number of page 264.

Enter the ordinate section of this square function with unit of measure and explain the meaning of this value for the relationship between the distance and the height.

Umm... What?

The blond sat there for the rest of the hour and just stared at the calculation. As it finally rang all students, except Emma, left.

"So... What's up?" Emma hesitantly asked, not quite sure if Regina wanted her to stay in detention for another hour. She didn't do anything wrong. But then there was the incident with her phone...

"Done with the conclusions?"

Damn!

"No." Emma shyly admitted and added after a short pause:" Do I really have to do all of 'em?"

Regina shot her a strict teacher look and said:" Just because you are my girlfriend doesn't mean I will tread you any different. It's not allowed to use cell phones in detention! Now stop whining and start calculating!"

Emma rolled her eyes but didn't give in. "But technically I wasn't in detention."

Regina glared at her and Emma shut up immediately.

She looked at her book again and tried to solve the calculations in it. After ten minutes, she gave up and ended up writing any random words and numbers on a paper so it looked like she was doing something. Silently hoping some were correct.

After what seemed like an eternity, she wrote the last number. Happily she placed her pen on the desk, threw her hands in the air and shouted:" Thank god! I am done!"

Regina chuckled and stood up. She slowly made her way to Emma. The brunette set down next to her and took the papers. Emma bit her lip nervously as she said:" I don't think you really wanna check that."

The brunette rose her eyebrows as she looked at Emma reproachfully. She looked back at the sheets again and Emma started to play with her fingers.

After the first five numbers, which were all wrong, Regina stopped correcting and said:" Emma, did you even try to do it right?!"

Emma blushed as she said:" Well... yeah I did!" and added silently "For the first ten minutes."

"Emma! I want you to do it again! Ask me if you have any trouble but don't write down some random stuff! Look," She pointed at a calculation "This variable is not even in the instruction! You can't just write down some random stuff you think looks pretty or whatever silly thought you had."

Emma smirked as she said:" Well... That silly thought in my head was you, babe."

Regina rolled her eyes. "To flatter me won't help you solve the conclusions!"

Emma's smile faded and she whined:" Do I have to do it now? Aren't you curious why I came here?"

Regina thought about it for a moment and then said:" Okay tell me, but afterwards you are going to do this!"

Emma nodded:" So... My parents are on holidays till tuesday and I am alone at home."

Regina smirked:" I like where this is going. Go on."

"I would be all alone, so I thought maybe I could sleep at your place again? Only if it's ok with you."

Reginas smile grew even wider and she nodded happily:" I'd like that!"

Emma smiled too.

"That means I don't have to do this maths thingi now?" Emma cutely asked

Reginas smile faded and she shot Emma a strict teacher-look. That was enough for Emma to go back to work.
