Drawing

On Wednesday Rubys and Emmas classes were going to end at the same time so they would have detention together.

When Emma entered Grannys, the two girls immediately went to school, where they met Belle.

At the end of their last lesson they went to Miss Mills class together. They looked at each other before Emma pushed down the door handle. Both entered and Regina shot a look at them before she focused on her papers again.

"Sit down, girls." She said without looking at them.

Ruby sat down in the last row so Emma decided to sit next to her. Both looked at each other and didn't know what to do. There was nothing on the board and Regina didn't seem to say anything so the girls just took out a paper and started to do some things on their own. They were smart enough not to talk or write letters.

After the first ten minutes the girls silently decided to make a drawing competition. Both could draw pretty well.

Emma started to draw a swan and Ruby a wolf. Sometimes one of the girls looked at the other ones paper and when their gaze met they both laughed silently.

After thirty minutes both girls were done and switched papers. On the back of the drawing, they wrote what they especially liked and disliked. This took some time and after nearly 10 minutes they handed the papers back again but, of course, Miss Mills saw it and went to their desk with big, threatening steps. She shot both an angry glare and took the papers.

Her mouth fell open as she saw the drawings. They looked wonderful.

The older brunet just stood there for another minute with an open mouth and gazed at the drawings. As she snapped back to reality she closed her mouth fastly and but the drawings back on the desk.

"Wow... They are very good!" Regina said impressed.

Emma blushed and Ruby just grinned at Miss Mills.

After a short pause Regina started to talk again:" But that doesn't change the fact that you wrote letters again."

Both girls suddenly looked at each other and then back to Regina.

"But- That- We didn't-" Emma started and Ruby then said:" No... We didn't write letters! I mean... We maybe did but not like... I mean we just wanted to... Oh god..." She then simply gave up.

"I am going to forgive you because those are REALLY good!" Regina said and winked at the girls. Both let out a relived sighed.

They still had 5 minutes so Ruby started to talk selfconfident:" So... I heard you meet with Emma on her birthday."

Regina shortly looked at Emma and smirk. Emma sank down in her seat. "Ruby?!" Emma hissed.

Regina giggled and said relaxedly:" Yes we do."

"Well, I just want you to be careful and don't hurt her." Ruby said sweetly and added with a smirk:" Whatever you two are going to do." And then winked at Emma.

Emma punched Ruby and gave her a 'you did not really say that, did you?!' look. Regina giggled again.

"Yes. I'll be carefully." Regina said smirking.

Then the bell rang and both girls made their way out the class.
