The next morning Emma woke up next to a still sleeping Regina. The sun shone already brightly and Emma smiled at the woman next to her. She looked so adorable with the messy hair and the relaxed body and face.

As Emma turned around she glanced at the alarm clock on the nightstand. Her eyes widened.

'Fuck!' she whispered as she jumped out of the bed. It was already 10:30. She had to be home in half an hour.

As carefully as she could, as to not wake Regina, she rushed into the bathroom. The blond brushed her teeth and put her hair up into a bun before she put on a white tank top and some jeans. She took out a sheet of paper and wrote:

Dear Gina. Thank you for the perfect day! I had to go home and study maths because I couldn't go to my tutoring with my hot teacher yesterday. Anyway, have a nice day.
-E ❤

Only 10 minutes later, she rushed out the house without waking her girlfriend.

Emma ran home in the rain and entered her home at exactly 11 o'clock completely soaked.

Mary Magaret greeted her and Emma went into her room. She changed into something dry and more cozy and then took out her maths things but couldn't stop thinking about her girlfriend.

As Regina woke up, she searched for Emma but as she opened her eyes, she soon realized that her bed was empty. She sat up and brushed her hair out of her face before she saw a letter on her nightstand.

Dear Gina. Thank you for the perfect day! I had to go home and study maths because I couldn't go to my tutoring with my hot teacher yesterday. Anyway, have a nice day.
-E ❤

Regina chuckled. It was fascinating how Emma was all shy and nervous around her but as soon as they were messaging Emma was all self-confident and flirty.

The brunette decided to call Emma. She took her phone and comfortably leaned back against her billow.

Emma picked up and a big smile formed on Reginas lips as she heard her girlfriends voice.

"Hey, Gina. What's up?"

"Good morning, Miss Swan. I hope you already coughed up on everything you missed yesterday." Regina answered in her strict teacher voice.

"I tried really hard, Miss Mills. But I kinda can't solve any tasks. Maybe I could come over today and catch up on everything I missed?" Emma played along and giggled silently.

"Oh, you should really make and effort. You see, you have to make up for letting me wake up to an empty bed today, Miss Swan." Regina said very strictly but with a smile on her face.

"I... Umm I am sor-" Emma started, which suddenly felt insecure and pressured but Regina, which couldn't see the switch in Emmas mood, interrupted her.

"Oh Miss Swan, I know you are but that doesn't undo my bad morning experience. You know, I hate waking up alone when there is supposed to be a beautiful girl next to me." Regina didn't stop her act and smirked at herself, curious about how her girlfriend would react.

But Emma but her walls up again, now feeling mad. "Then you should call one of those girls and leave me alone!" Emma hung up before Regina could say anything else, switching her phone of and throwing it on the floor in the process.

How did she dare telling Emma she wanted another girl in her bed? On the phone!?

But thinking about it, she was probably right. This other girls could at least satisfy her. How did it even take Regina so long to realize that? She started to wonder why it took Regina so long to realize that Emma wasn't suitable enough.

With tears running down her cheek and sobbing she curled herself into a little ball and lay on her bed until it knocked on her door.

"Emma? Are you ok?" Mary Margaret asked.

"I am fine. Go away!" Emma snapped but a sob escaped her throat.

"Are you crying, sweetheart? I am coming in now." The brunettes voice was now full of sorrow.

"No don't-" Emma protested but her mother already stood in her room.

"Emma, honey. What happened?" Mary Margaret rushed to her daughter and sat down next to the little crying ball.

"I- I don't want to..." another sob escaped her mouth and Mary Margarets heart broke. She took Emma in her arms and rubbed her back soothingly.

"Shhh. It's okay honey. You don't have to talk about it." She squeezed the still crying girl.

Half an hour later Emma's sobs slowly died down.

Emma wiped her tears with the sleeve of her cardigan away and wiggled out of her mothers embrace.

"I want to be alone now." She coldly said.

Mary Margaret just nodded and made her way outside.

"Mom, wait!" Emma shouted before the door fully closed. "Thank you"

Mary Margaret smiled at her daughter "You are welcome, honey. I love you!"

She closed the door and let her daughter alone.
