Getting to kow each other

Emma sat on a stool and watched Regina moving through the kitchen. After she put the lasagna in the oven Emma said:" I thought about something."

Regina looked at her and raised one of her perfect shaped brows so Emma continued:" You basically know everything about me but I know nothing about you."

"Okay..., how about this? You are allowed to ask me anything you want till dinner is ready and after dinner I am allowed to ask you anything?" Regina suggested.

Emma nodded and the brunet lead her to the living room. She sat on a cream colored couch, leaving Emma the choice where she wanted to sit. Emma hesitated a little but sat next to the brunet after a while. Their distance was just as big so they didn't touch each other.

Emma turned to her teacher and started:" So... My first question is... Umm... What's your favorite color?"

Regina giggled. That girl was really innocent. "Dark blue, dark red... Well basically everything dark, dear."

"Hmm... What's your favorite food?"

"Everything with apples, really. Especially apple turnovers. I just love them!" Regina said.

Emma giggled and said:" Well I can smell that." Regina blushed slightly and Emma giggled again.

"Umm... So what about your family? Any siblings or something like that?" Emma asked and Reginas good mood dropped immediately. She looked down and started to play with her fingers. Emma never saw her teacher nervous before so she immediately felt guilty and said:" Oh... I am sorry! I didn't mean to... Umm... Just don't answer. I am sorry."

"It's okay Emma. It's just,... let's say my mom and I have a difficult relationship." She looked up and her face was so sad and Emma just wanted to hug her but Regina started to talk again:" But I have a sister. Her name is Zelena. She always defended me and was so nice. We are still in contact even though she lives in England right now." Her brown eyes light up as she talked about her sister and she started to smile again. All her nervousness was gone again.

Emma kept asking Regina questions till dinner was ready. They ate the lasagna and Emma nearly died at the taste of it. She never ate something that good before. Regina giggled at the sight of her student eating the lasagna.

After dinner they went back to the couch and sat there again.

"Now it's my turn." Regina smiled. Emma shyly nodded and tugged a small piece of hair behind her ear. "Ok. I want you to be completely honest with me and if you feel uncomfortable about any of the questions, we skip them and I will ask another one, okay dear?" Emma nodded again and started to play with her fingers nervously.

"Did you ever tell Mary Magaret and David that you are gay?" the brunet asked carefully.

Emmabreath hitched and she hesitated but after a while she shook her head no and blushed. After a while she added:" I... I didn't know it ether. I mean, before I met... you, I... I thought I was... umm... straight."

Regina nodded and continued:" And how about kissing. Did you ever kiss someone?"

Emma shook her head no again. She felt very embarrassed and looked at her fingers before she stuttered:" I never... liked it, when someone... someone touched me. I don't like body contact."

Regina stayed silent for a few seconds before she said:" So you don't like it when I hug you?" Emma immediately looked up and said:" Of course I like it! I don't know why, but you are different."

Regina smiled at her again and asked after a moment:" Do you want to lie in my arms?" Regina didn't want anything more than Emma lieing in her arms while they were sitting on the couch.

Emma blushed again but nodded. The brunet carefully pulled her into her arms and started to stoke her arm. Emma felt home in her arms. She inhaled the scent of apples and closed her eyes. She felt the brunet's fingers above her arms and butterflies appeared in her stomach and a heat spread form her core. She never felt that way before but she liked it.

"How do you feel, dear?" Regina asked.

"Fine. I like it." She whispered and added:" You are so warm and smell so nice!"

Regina smirked but Emma couldn't see it.

"Thank you, Emma. I really appreciate your honesty. I am very proud of you!" Regina said and squeezed Emma a little.

Emma smiled and closed her eyes again. They just lay like that till Emma had to go home. Emma said goodbye to Regina and felt like the happiest human on earth. On her way home she called Ruby and Belle and told them everything.

When Emma got home she immediately fell into her bedand drifted off to sleep with the thoughts at her girlfriend.
