"Azalea! Ba't ba kasi kailangan ka pa pumunta diyan sa Spain for the freaking whole summer break?! Ano gagawin ko dito? Nganga? Ba't last week ka pa ng summer break babalik?" Reklamo ni Nyla sa kabilang linya. She's really starting to argue with me? Ugh. This girl is so noisy.

"Buenos dias, Amiga. Is that how you greet me starting now? I'm hurt you know? You're shouting at me and it's freaking 8 am in the morning here, 'tas iyan ibubungad mo sa'kin?' Yung boses mo na iyan? Sakit sa eardrums ah" Reklamo ko.

Naramdaman ko naman na sumimangot siya, "Sorry na. Eh, kasi naman eh. Ba't ka pa kasi kailangan diyan sa Spain?" May halong pagtatampo sa boses niya.

I rolled my eyes. I really can't believe this girl. Akala mo siya lang iyong pamilya ko. Nahihirapan siguro iyong boyfriend neto. Ang clingy.

"Sila papa at mama kailangan dito, they're doing business here. Tsaka my other relatives are here, Nyla. We lived here before and I was born here for pete's sake. Baka nakakalimutan mo? I have relatives here, I need to visit them." Pag tataray ko.

Nag buntong hininga siya, "Magiging okay ka ba diyan?" Tanong niya.

Natawa ako, "Sí, why wouldn't I?"

"Wow, baka nakakalimutan mo best friend mo 'ko tas wala ako diyan sa tabi mo." She exclaimed with a sarcastic voice. Ang clingy talaga.

Natawa ako, this girl is making me miss her already.

"Ló Síento, Sí, Always noted!" Natatawa kong sabi.

"Sorry ka diyan. Che. Pero wait, I bet there's so many handsome and hot guys there in Spain, Lea! Dapat pala sumama ako!" Sabi niya

Inikutan ko siya ng mata kahit di niya nakikita. May boyfriend na 'to, pero ayan pa rin ang iniisip.

"Yung mga iniisip ng isang Nyla Paislee Montenegro."

Natawa naman siya sa sinabi ko.

I heard someone spoke to her from the background.

"Yes! Coming!" Kumunot ang noo ko nung sumigaw si Nyla. Ouch.

"Uhm, Azalea-" I cut her off.

"Go ahead! I'll catch up with you later. Adíos, Chicka! Loveyou!" Maligaya kong sabi.

"Bye, loveyahtoo!" She ended the call and that made me sigh in relief. Finally, peace.

Nilapag ko na yung phone ko at nag buntong hininga. Lumabas ako sa terrace ng aking kwarto and I felt the cold wind breeze of the peaceful morning. Hay, I love this kind of feeling. The sun is shining, blue skies. I bet, it's perfect for a stroll at the beach or just at the peaceful streets. I really miss Spain.

"Azalea." Mom greeted me as she entered my room. I smiled at her.

Pumasok na ako sa kwarto at hinalikan sa pisngi si Mommy.

"Buenos dias, Mama." Niyakap ko siya.

Ngumiti siya at sinuklay ang aking buhok.

"Buenos Dias, Azalea. Let's go down. Let's eat." She said almost a whisper.

Tumango ako at sabay na kaming bumaba.

Niyakap ko si Papa at hinalikan sa pisngi. "Buenos Dias, Papa!" I heard him chuckle.

"Morning, babygirl." Maligaya niyang sabi at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.

Umupo na ako sa tapat ni mommy at dad, at nagsimula na kumain.

Habang kumakain, napapaisip ako kung anong puwedeng gawin ngayon. Hmm, I got it!

"Dad, Mom. Can I go for a stroll later?" Tanong ko sakanila.

Nagkatinginan sila at parang ayaw pa ako payagan ni Dad. Mom was saying something with her eyes to dad that made me almost laugh. Alam na gusto ako payagan ni mommy.

I heard him sigh, meaning he's defeated.

"As long, as you come back in one piece. No scratches, no wounds, no tears falling down from your eyes." Sabi ni dad at natawa si mommy, "In short be safe and come home early." Dagdag ni Mommy.

See? Talo talaga si daddy 'pag dating kay mommy!

"Yes po!" Ngumiti ako.

"You really should come home early, you just turned 16, you're still our baby girl. Its not that safe at the night." Sabi ni Daddy.

"Sí, Papa. Don't worry." I assured him

After ko kumain, naligo na ako at nag bihis na. I'm gonna go for a stroll right? Ootd? Sleeveless top, shorts, partnered with them is a white knitted cardigan and sandals. Got my medium sized purse with all my essentials there and headed out the door.

Walking across the colorful houses is very soothing. I chose to go here first before going to the beach, because the beach is just at the back of our house. Just some stairs to go down to the beach, so I just chose to stroll here first.

I went to some tourist shops, because I wanted to buy some stuff for my Best friend. I met her 2 years ago sa Pilipinas, I was a newbie, because my parents and I came from the States after spending 10 years here in Spain and another 3 years in the States. My parents are really good friends with her parents. They were colleagues, that's why. That's why we've been really good friends.

'Di ako masyado marunong mag Spanish, even though I grew up here. I always speak in English, kaya I'm fluent in speaking in English. I try to speak in Spanish time to time but, I just can't help it but to mix it with English.

Pagkatapos ko bumili ng mga pasalubong para sa best friend ko, and some shopping for me, of course, because I didn't bring enough clothes.

I decided to go home to place all the shopping bags and go for a stroll at the beach.

While strolling at the beach, I saw some children playing and building a sand castle with their Parents. I smiled while looking at them, it makes me reminisce the old times with my parents.

Paminsan talaga mapapaisip ka na lang na sana bata ka na lang uli. I miss the old times.

Napatawa na lang ako sa sarili ko at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad sa beach.

I went towards the sea shore and I felt the waves crashing by my feet. Nakaka-relax talaga. I stayed a bit to look at the view but as soon as I am contented with what I saw, I decided to go home.

Pero, 'pag talikod ko may nakabangga ako.

Na-guilty naman kaagad ako at huminga kaagad ng paumanhin.

"Ló Siento." Sabi ko na natataranta.

Azalea! Watch where you're going, you're going to hurt people with your clumsiness!
