Tomatoredd x Reader: Cotton Candy

Man, was it the perfect day to go outside. I was usually the type of person to stay indoors, not wanting the risk of running into someone I knew and having to talk- human interaction? No thanks.

    But Edd, my neighbor from across the street, called and invited me to go to ASDF Land with him and his friends Tom and Matt, and I accepted, not wanting to be rude. It was probably good for me to go out anyways... when was the last time I left my house?

    Anyways, I showered (for the first time in... how long?) and walked across the street to knock on Edd's door to see if he was ready to go. Tom opened the door and stepped aside to let me in, where I sat next to Edd on the couch. Apparently Matt wasn't done getting ready yet.

    A few minutes later he was, and we all piled in the car to head off.

Tomatoredd's POV

    "Shitshitshitshit..."

    "Calm down it'll be okay-"

    "RUN FASTER YOU GUYS!"

    "Can we stop to get some Smirnoff...?"

    "NO!"

    How long had we been running for? We didn't know, but it felt like forever, that's for sure. Escaping the lab had been the easy part, it seemed, compared to this. Where were we even headed? Looking around, we spotted what seemed to be a carnival.

    'Good, lots of people. It'll be hard to spot us.'

    We all agreed on Tord's idea (Tom begrudgingly) and simultaneously agreed to turn inside. Walking to the middle of the place, we were surrounded by the smells of popcorn, candy floss, and-

    "COLA!" Edd took over our body, steering us towards a booth that was selling the drink.

Reader's POV

    "C'mon Edd, don't be a scaredy-cat!" I said, nudging Edd in the side.

    "I don't know... that roller coaster looks pretty high..." Edd protested meekly.

    "Alright, if you really don't want to, you should go find Tom and Matt in the arcade." I dismissed Edd with a wave of my hand, walking towards the coaster. Edd was right: it was pretty high. But I wasn't backing down now

   

After finishing up with the coaster, and my adrenaline rush was running out, I realized I was quite hungry. Making a beeline for the cotton candy stand (as it was the closest food stall near the coaster) I luckily got there right as the line was dying down. After paying, I turned around to find a table to sit at... before bumping into someone- a very tall someone- and dropping my cotton candy before I could even take a bite.

Obviously slightly pissed, I looked up to yell at the guy before dropping my angered expression and becoming speechless.

"S-sorry, we-I didn't mean-"

"Hey, watch it!"

"Pardon!"

"Uh, sorry."

"Oh, yeah, sorry..." I stuttered, still shocked by the person before me. A tall ginger, with quite the hairdo, was wearing a hoodie that seemed to switch from blue to red right down the middle. On top of this was what seemed to be an overcoat, except it two had interwoven colors (this time green and purple.)
