Well, we haven't posted in a while! But we're not dead, don't worry.

To make up for it, we have a lengthy (???) x Reader coming soon that's super angst™

Tbh we're not that proud of this one  :V

"So, this here is the kitchen, and living room." The cheerful, brown-haired boy said. I was still trying to remember their names, nodding along as Edd described the house to me, giving me the tour.

'Edd, Tom, Matt.' I repeated in my head.

"This is (Gospel) my room, Tom's, the bathroom, and Matt's room is upstairs, in the attic. Your room is right here." Edd continued, opening a door at the end of the hallway and stepping aside to let me through.

"So, what do you think?" Edd questioned, then taking a sip of his cola, waiting for me to respond.

    "It's perfect!"

While getting settled, I met one of the other housemates: Tom. While he definitely wasn't as outgoing as Edd, I still felt welcomed. Now there was only Matt.

After unpacking everything, I decided it would be the proper time to introduce myself. Since Tom was on the couch and Edd drawing in his room, I decided to just knock on Matt's door and see if that's where he was.

After a few seconds and the sound of shuffling feet, the door opened to show a tall ginger behind it.

"Oh, you- uh, must be the new houseguest..." Matt trailed off, looking from my face to the floor.

"Yeah, I'm (Y/n)!" I said, smiling. "Just thought I should introduce myself."

"Uh-huh, well, nice to meet you!" Matt said, closing the door and leaving me in the hall.

I dismissed Matt's attitude off as him being busy, but even days later he seemed to be avoiding me. Whether it was not showing up for breakfast, or even leaving the room when he noticed I was there, I decided to talk to Edd about it. After all, he was the most welcoming from the beginning, and would probably have the best advice of the situation.

"Hey, uh, Edd?" I said, knocking on his door with the back of my knuckles and twisting the knob at the same time.

"Yeah, (Y/n)?" Edd asked, turning around from his desk where he was apparently drawing.

"I, uh, just wanted to talk." I said, sitting down on his bed, across from where Edd sat.

"Yeah, what's up?" Edd asked, eyebrow raised.

"I just, I noticed Matt hasn't exactly been... welcoming. And I don't know if I'm just looking too far into it or...?" I didn't want to throw Matt under the bus or anything, but it was hard not to with the way he's been acting.

"Yeah, I kind of noticed that too." Edd admitted, absent-mindedly messing with his pencil as he thought.

"And it's really weird, too!" Edd continued, "Matt's usually so outgoing. He can talk for hours, just about his hair alone." He chuckled.

"But that just makes the situation all the weirder... maybe you should talk to him about it?" Edd suggested.

"Kind of hard to do when I never even see him around the house." I chuckled, but got up anyways to find Matt.

"Good luck, (Y/n)." Edd chuckled turning back to his artwork.

"Tanks, Edd." I said before closing his bedroom door and heading for the attic.
