"Hurry up!" Alexander playfully said, being 'abusive' to you as usual. "We need to get going if we want to get there on time!"

    "Okay, okay." I complained, heading downstairs into the living room of the apartment I shared with my friend and roommate Alexander. Today was the day; we would be heading to Comic Con to meet our idols, Arin and Danny from the Game Grumps.

    Alexander, for all his complaining, was not even yet ready himself. He was planning on cosplaying as Chara from Undertale, and I was likewise going as Napstablook; although Alexander hadn't even gotten his wig on.

    Helping each other add the finishing touches to our costumes and packing everything we needed, it was finally time to set off towards where the convention would be held. After merely a half-hour taxi drive we had arrived.

"Finally!" Alexander complained, jumping out of the cab and stretching his limbs from the confinement of the cramped car ride. I, on the other hand, paid the driver and grabbed his things to chase after Alexander, who had already dashed off to the convention floor.

After I had caught up, we spent most of the day just walking around, grabbing lunch, and exploring all the booths they had set up. We were even asked to be in a few pictures due to our on-point cosplays.

A few hours before the convention shut down, however, I suggested;

"I think it's about time we search for Danny and Arin!"

"Yeah," Alexander commented, "if we want to meet them, we'd better hurry." Though secretly he knew I solely came to see Danny, who I miiiiight've had a crush on. Maybe. Kinda.

Setting off at a sprint, a new goal at mind, Alexander and I searched around. It didn't take long for me to spot Dan's hair over the crowd of people that had formed around him and Arin. Luckily, we had appeared just in time, as the crowd mostly dissipated as we approached the Grumps. I got in line first, in front of Alexander, and immediately regretted it due to his loud complaining. I was startled out of my annoyance by a voice coming from my left.

"Why, hello there!" I turned on my heel as Alexander's face lit up- Danny was standing right there. Trying not to fangirl, and of course failing miserably, I got a hug and picture with him. I moved on to Arin, Alexander stepped up to Dan and continued the process.

After all the pictures and hugs were done, Alexander spoke up;

    "Well... thank's so much!" He said awkwardly.

    "Oh- well, you are the last group! We could, ya know..." Dan trailed off, even more awkwardly than Alexander (if that was even physically possible.)

    "Yeah,"Arin picked up, trying to save his friend from embarrassment, "I mean, we could sit and talk for awhile."

    "Oh!" I chirped happily, completely surprised (but not against) the suggestion. Alexander and I both rapidly agreed to the idea.

    Just sitting and talking for another good hour, the convention staff eventually came up and said that we had to go.

    "Well..." I trailed off again as all four of us stood up, ready to say goodbye.

    "Wait!" Arin said hastily, obviously not wanting us to leave. "Do you have to go?" He continued.

    "Yeah," Dan agreed, although I noticed he was occasionally darting his eyes from the ground up to me as he spoke.

"You could actually come over to the hotel we're staying at, if-if that's okay with you." Dan hastily added while Arin nodded his head in agreement. "I mean, I know that sounds kind of weird, and if you're not okay with it, it's totally fine..." Dan was scratching the back of his neck now, blushing quite a bit.

Alexander and I sat three, thinking about the proposition before we both responded in unison;

    "Sure!"

    "Perfect!" Dan said, practically beaming. "Do you guys need a ride, or...?" Dan offered, looking between myself and Alexander.

    "Oh, that would be great, actually!" Alexander piped up, seeing as I was too awestruck to reply. The full weight had just hit me that Danny Sexbang, my crush, was inviting me to his hotel room.

    "Alright, well follow us!" Arin said. Along the way Arin and Alexander walked ahead, while Dan and I fell behind, just chatting. Apparently Dan and Arin had taken separate cars here, so we were going to split up, with Dan and I taking his car and Arin and Alexander taking Arin's car.

    I had managed to keep my cool up until this point merely because Alexander was there with me. Now that it was just me and Dan, however, things got interesting. Or should I say, awkward. Not only was the car ride quiet, but when Dan turned on the radio halfway through the drive, it was some sappy love song.

    'Oh. My. God.' I thought. 'I'd rather go back to it being silent.'

    After an eternity, we were at the hotel. Dan and Arin led the way (as we obviously didn't know the way to go) and once we were at the hotel room, it was rather late. Since we had stayed as long as possible at the convention, and had talked even longer after that, it was around 10:30. Alexander and I were used to staying up that later, however Dan and Arin were (understandably) tired.

    And since we didn't have a car, and they were both too tired to drive us back to our apartment, Alexander and I were sleeping here.

    "No it's fine, really!" I protested to Dan, who wouldn't stop apologizing (even though he was half-asleep.) It was kinda cute, actually.

    "We are so, so sorry guys!" Dan continued, either not hearing me or just refusing to listen.

    Dan's argument didn't seem too valid, however, once you realized Arin was already passed out on one of the two beds. Alexander had taken the other half of that bed, leaving only one bed for Dan and I to share.

    "Seriously, Dan, it's fine. Let's just got to bed now." I pleaded, getting into the remaining bed. Dan begrudgingly got on the other side, and reached over to turn the lamp off.

    Ten minutes later, and I still wasn't asleep.

    Twenty minutes, and I was tossing and turning.

I lost track of time when I started to hear Arin's snoring from the bed over.

I was about to just give up on sleep and go on my phone when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me from behind. I managed to not fall out of bed right then, but my face did turn bright red.

After a few minutes though, I had gotten used to the close contact and was starting to drift off, peacefully dreaming of tomorrow.

Sorry it took us this long to do it, as you can see we've been busy being absolute trash. Nothing unusual.
