"What are you doing here?" His gruff voice asked.
"Why the hell are you asking me? I don't even know myself." You grumbled back.
"So why are you here? Did you die?" He asked, his green eyes staring into your soul.
"I think I did. I'm not sure. Because I was positive I was going to hell..." You muttered the last part. He sighed heavily, not amused with this situation.
"So what about you? Why are you here?" You asked, intertwining your fingers together.
"Don't ask me. I've been here a while." He replied. You pouted.
"You don't have to be so stiff." You said while poking his clothed cheek. His eyebrow twitched at contact, but he managed not to throttle you right then and there. You pouted even more when you removed your finger from his cheek.
"Mean." You said.
"You're still a bigger idiot than Hidan." He said.
"SO MEAN!!!!!! DON'T COMPARE ME TO THAT PIECE OF SILVERWARE!!!" You anime cried. He sighed, walking over to your hysterical self.
"Oi. Get up." He ordered. Your crying immediately ceased when you gave him a sharp glare. He would never show it or admit it, but he was slightly terrified of you.
"Excuse me?" You hissed. As much as you loved your friends, no one ordered you to do anything. He sighed, not wanting to be sent to the void.
"Please get up." That sentence felt foreign on his tongue, but it perked up your mood and made you get up.
"What's up?" You asked, rocking back and forth on your heals. He sighed before holding out his hand, not looking at you.
"What?" You asked, confused.
"Your brat of a sister told me to do this if I saw you." He said, not even sparing a glance at you.
'Hio?' You thought.
"Okay?" You said unsure, slipping your hand in his. You immediately felt the coldness of his hand, making you slightly shiver.
'Jesus he's cold...' You thought. He closed his hand around yours and squeezed it tightly.
'He's going to break my hand off...' You thought with a sweatdrop. Suddenly, your arm started glowing white, the light slowly traveling up your body before you were completely lit up. Kakuzu removed his hand and finally looked at you, his normal hard gaze now slightly softened.
"What's going on?" You muttered.
"What does it look like? You're going back." He replied. The light began to be blinding, causing you to not see anything.
'Going back?' You thought before your vision was completely white.
