Chapter 8: We went to Rose's house

A/N: I drew up some characters: in Chapter 1 of Angela, Chapter 2 of Rose, Chapter 4 of Raymond, and Chapter 7 of Lisa. I just wanted to show how the characters look like. And please pardon my drawings XD I tried to squeeze all the 'dry' stuff in this chapter. Try and enjoy! XD

Chapter 8: We went to Rose's house

Part 1

"But I don't want to die! 'Rose cried out.

"Fear not, we'll find a way. This Slayer here is quite good at using spells, huh. We can't cure this posion with just Angel and Slayer spells...it's quite toxic, I must say." Gerard commented as he looked at the wound. Gosh, stop showing off your bare chest! The girls are drooling!

Then Angela said what was on my mind. "Ger! Go get a shirt! And hide those wings and your halo! We're in Nobiah now!"

"Yes, ma'am." Gerard made a dramatic sigh and muttered something. His clothes changed into that of the school uniform and his wings shrank into his back while his halo vanished. Now he looked like a student from my school. Who looked too handsome to be true.

After a pause, he said, "We should be able to find the ingredients for the antidote in Nobiah..."

"Like in grocery stores or what?" My mind wondered to those anime and manga where poisons were involved. The good guys either used magic or herbs. But things should not be so simple in real life, right?

"This poison is from a demon...how did he attack you anyway? Without me knowing, too." Gerard said.

"It was late at night. Or should I say early in the morning. So it wouldn't be surprised if you were sleeping at that time too." I blurted out.

"How did you know? Don't tell me you and Rose slept together last -----" Lisa gasped.

"Hell, no!" Rose and I yelled together. I was blushing at the thought, though...Rose and I together...get a grip of yourself! I chided.

"It's just that I had a dream which turned out to be the truth!" I said.

"A dream that turned out to be true? Don't tell me---" Gerard started to say, but Angela interrupted him.

"Not now. We have more pressing issues here. We need to find a way to save Rose." Angela cut in.

I wonder what was Gerard about to say? But Angela was right, we needed to save Rose.

"This poison was caused by a demon. An, do you have the weapon?" Gerard asked. From the names they called each other, I could see that they were close.

"Here." Angela handed him the pen.

"This pen is a poisonous dagger, huh." Gerard said as he held the pen, and when he uncapped it, nothing happened too. It remained an ordinary pen.

"This must have quite a high-level spell to unlock it." Angela commented as she peered over Gerard's shoulder to take a peek at the pen.

"That means the demon must be quite a skilled one." Gerard finished.

"Back to Rose! How are we going to treat her!" I clapped my hands to get everyone's attention back to Rose's condition. They were digressing from the main point.

"Yea...well, I might just be able to create a antidote that is supposed to cure all illnesses from demons. At least normal demons. That isn't the problem...the problem is to get the ingredients." Gerard said.
