Melody P.O.V
I looked over my shoulder, to see a big part of the school gathered behind us. I quickly took Ross by the hand and took him to the school-nurse. “O dear, what happened?” She asked as we entered the nursery. She was one of the only ones who hadn’t been afraid of Ross since the beginning. She had never been afraid of him actually. Ross sat down on the little couch against the wall. “It’s a long story. But I’d like to send him home, and I’ll take care of him.” I said. She typed something on her computer and then called Stormie.

“His mom is currently at work. You have the permission to go with him.” When I turned around, Ross was crying again. I quickly walked over to him and pulled him into a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and hugged me back. I rubbed circles on his back, trying to calm him. “Ross, c’mon. I’ll drive you home.” Ross pulled back and looked at me with terrified eyes. “And then leave me there?” He asked, shaking from head to toe.

“No, I’m staying with you. I promise.” I said. He smiled a bit, but his smile quickly faded. He got up and I walked with him. We got to his car and I drove him home. Ross turned the music down during the ride. There’s something really really wrong with him, he always loved music when we were driving. We arrived at his house and I parked the car on the driveway. We both got out and I hung his jacket in the wardrobe.

Ross got upstairs and came back a few minutes later. He had changed into a Hollister-shirt and some sweatpants. His face was pale, and his eyes were still red and puffy. He laid down on the couch, not saying anything. Seeing the way he acted now, broke something inside of me. I literally felt like crying, seeing him like this. But I still didn’t knew whether I liked him or not. I felt so weak.

I quickly got both of us a drink, and put them on the table. I was with my back to Ross, so I didn’t see what he was doing, I only heard him grabbing a blanket. Then I felt two strong arms wrap around me and they pulled me backwards. I landed on my side, on the couch, next to Ross. Then he laid the blanket over us. Our noses brushed together and I couldn’t help but blush bright red.

Ross pulled me even closer, and I rested my head on his chest. “I still don’t know why you did all of this for me, Mel. But thank you so much.” He sobbed, but this time it was from happiness. I knew that. “I knew you hadn’t always been this way. I knew there was this Ross inside of you somewhere. And I wanted to know how he was.” I admitted truthfully. I heard Ross chuckle and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

It got all warm and cuddly underneath the blanket, and the way Ross held me made me feel safe. His steady heartbeat made me sleepy, and when I looked up, he had fallen asleep with a big smile on his face. He looked absolutely adorable. I quickly got a hand through his hair and chuckled. Then I rested my head on his chest again and slowly drifted off to sleep.
