Chapter 19

Melody P.O.V I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He smiled through the kiss and moved over to the left, so we were both on our sides. Being this close to him made me feel happy, warm and safe inside. "It's been quite a day, we deserve some time alone." He mumbled through the kisses. I pulled away and nodded. He leaned his forehead against mine. "How about pizza and some movies?" I nodded again. He knew me so well.

He got up and got downstairs. I grabbed the same pair of PJ's I wore last night and changed into them. A while later Ross came back with the pizza's and he put them down on his bed. "Where's Ryland gonna sleep?" I asked. "I guess he doesn't want to sleep here tonight, so..." He shrugged, then laughed and dissapeared into the bathroom. I turned on the TV, and started searching for some cool clothes.

I had my full attention on the movies, which caused me to be scared when Ross wrapped his arms around me from behind. "Damn, you scared me." I chuckled. "Sorry." He pouted. I couldn't handle his puppy eyes, they were way too cute. I punched him in the arm playfully, handed him the movies and laid down on his bed. He put the movie in and laid down with me. 

I cuddled closer to him as he started eating his pizza. I laid there, eating pizza in his arms. I didn't finish my pizza, cause I wasn't that hungry, so I just shove it onto the little table at the end of his bed. I didn't even feel like watching a movie anymore, so I cuddled closer to him with my face facing him. "Are you okay babe? You seem a little... off." He said and tucked a piece of hair out of my face. I looked up at him. "I have a bit of headache and feel a little nauseous, but I guess I'm fine." I shrugged lightly and closed my eyes.

- Somewhere in the middle of the night - 

Melody P.O.V I suddenly woke up and glanced over at the clock. 3:07 AM was shown on the clock. Why was I awake? I never really woke up in the middle of the night, except for when I had nightmares. But I couldn't remember having a nightmare. Then I felt my stomach making twists. I quickly got up and ran over to the bathroom. I threw up in the toilet, when I suddenly felt someone holding my hair up. "God, are you okay?" I flushed the toilet and walked over to the sink to wash my mouth. 

I saw Ross standing behind me. "I think I'm just sick. It's nothing bad." I said, feeling the headache coming up again. I turned towards him and saw his worried look. "Just the flu." "Let's head back to bed, I think you could use some rest." And so we got back to bed.

- On a normal school-day - 

Melody P.O.V I laid in my bed at home, waiting for Ross to come over. He promised me to come over after school,  but if he did, he would've been here like half an hour ago. Then I suddenly heard the door unlock and Ross walked into the room, making me gasp. "What happened to you?!" I screamed in panic, as I saw his bruised eye and the bruise on his cheek. "Mackenzie brought some friends after school." He said and groaned in pain as I touched his eye. "Sit down." I said and got into the bathroom. 

I grabbed the ice and walked back to Ross. "Lay down, that's better." I said. He laid down and I put the ice on his eye softly. He whimpered. "Shh, it's going to get better." I said. When I got back to school, I was going to get her back for this. She couldn't treat him like that.
