Melody POV. I walked over to Rydel's locker and saw her talking with her brothers and Ellington. "Delly!" I yelled as I ran over to her. "Hey Mel, what's up?" She replied smiling as I hugged her. "Ross asked me for prom" I happily said. I smiled wide. "Oh my god, we have to find you a dress and heels and bracelets, necklaces, ear rings, everything" Rydel said excited. I smiled wide, "that's why I came to you." She grabbed my hand, "let's go." "why now? Prom is in weeks" I asked surprised. "I know, but I'm excited" She smirked. I laughed as she pulled me through the school to my locker. I got my home work out of it and we walked outside.
We got in Rydel's car and she started driving towards the mall, excited talking about prom. Most of the time I listened to her but after a while she made me just as excited and I started to talk with her.
After thirty minutes we arrived at the mall. We climbed out of the car. "Can we first go drink something?" I asked. "Yes please" Rydel smirked.
We walked into Starbucks and ordered our coffee. We sat down at a table and Rydel looked at me. I raised my eyebrow ar her as I took a sip. "Soooo, how did Ross ask you?" She asked taking a sip too. I blushed slightly. "Well, he texted me to come up on the roof of the school. So I came and he showed me the tickets. He asked shyly if I wanted to.go with him and I said yes of course" I smiled. "That's amazing, my brother is such a sweety" Rydel smiled. I nodded, "He is." I took another sip as one of the waiters came over to us. "Hello ladies" He said looking at me. "hey" I smiled. "sup?" Rydel said smiling too. He put a third chair to our table and sat down. "So babe, you wanna go drink something with me sometimes?" He asked flirty. I looked at Rydel and raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend" I said. He looked shocked, "Of course, why wouldn't such a beautiful have a boyfriend." I tried to hold back laughter as he turned to Rydel. "What about you babe? Do you wanna date this handsome guy?" "Uhm, no thanks" Rydel said getting up. I grabbed my coffee and got up too. "Let's go" I chuckled. When we walked out of Starbucks we started to laugh. "That was something" I laughed. "Yes, it was" Rydel laughed too.
