Melody POV. Tonight was prom night. I felt a kinda nervous... I'm not sure why though. Maybe because of Mackenzie or just because it's prom... I don't know. Rydel wanted me to come over, so that we can get ready together. Some other friends of hers are coming too. I was really excited about it all, even though I was nervous.
"Mom! I'm going over to Rydel's!" I yelled. My mom came down the stairs, "have fun tonight Mel. Remember, It's prom" I smiled as my mom pulled me into a hug. "I won't, thanks mom." I opened up the front-door and walked over to my car.
I drove to the Lynches house and rang the bell. Rydel opened the door and she happily hugged me. "C'mon, let's get upstairs" Rydel said and she pulled me up the stairs. "Were is Ross?" I asked as we walked into Rydel's bedroom. "He's at Ellington's. I didn't want him home when we were getting ready" Rydel smirked and plopped down on her bed. I smirked, "alright." "We have to wait for Quinn and Lily" Rydel said as she started to rummage in her drawer. "Okay" I said, laying down on Rydel's bed.
We walked some, about prom and stuff until the bell rang. "I'll be right back" Rydel said and walked downstairs. A few minutes later she came back with two girls and I got up. "heyy, you're Melody right? Ross' girlfriend?" A beautiful blonde girl said. "yeah, that's me" I smiled a little shy. "I'm Quinn, nice to meet you" Quinn smiled as she pulled me into a hug. "Nice to meet you too" I said smiling as I hugged her back. "hey, I'm Lily" The other girl said as she extended her hand. "Hi, i'm Melody" I replied as I shook her hand. "okay, now that everyone knows each other, let's get ready for prom!" Rydel yelled excited. I chuckled and nodded.
The next few hours Rydel, Quinn, Lily and I did each others hair and make-up and we definitely laughed a lot. We put on our dresses, heels andjewelery.
"How are my girl doing?" Rydel's bedroom door opened and Stormie walked in. She looked at each one of us and smiled. "you girls look amazing" she smiled. I smiled at her and I saw that the rest did the same. "Thank you momma Lynch" I smiled. "Thanks mom" Rydel said kissing her mothers cheek.
