"Ifwe let the Sheriff attack Nottingham and Isabella there will be a warwho will have the city and we have not enough men, Robin" Guy tookhis brother closer and looked straight at him. "I should keep mywife save but instead we're here to fight so let us kill the Sheriffbefore he can make any plans. We can't fight two of them"
Robinsighed but agreed and looked over to Lily. "And where do you wantto see her fight? You once burned a village for her, I can't believeyou let her fight for herself"
"Johnand Alan won't let anyone get near her. She won't be harmed. My wifewill be safe and I will kill the Sheriff to ensure she's safeforever" Guy and Robin left together to seek out the Sheriff'ssecret hideout. They didn't know Archer was following him and almostjumped when he showed himself near the Sheriff's camp. "Well, Ican't let my brothers have all the fun. Oh, Robin, can I have Kateafter we're done here?"
"Youare such an idiot. A woman can't be taken, she has to be earned"Guy sighed and thought of Lily like this was his last moment. He eventook both his brother's hands. "It was honor knowing you and beingyour brother. I wronged you many times Robin, but this I have to doalone"
Hepushed his brothers to make them fall off their feet and ran to theSheriff's tent himself. The man was sleeping in his bed and didn'texpect any visitors. His sword was on the floor and Guy stood next toit. "You have cursed me. Everytime I think my life could be better,you come back and ruin everything. The first time I betrayed you wasfor her and I should have done it much earlier. You wanted her dead.My family... my wife... I won't let you kill her"
Withoutwaking the Sheriff Guy made sure this was the Sheriff's last night.The man died quietly while Guy of Gisborne let go of his sword. "Nomore... I killed enough"
Hewalked away into the dark night and was welcomed by his brothers.Robin offered him a sword but Guy shook his head. "No... it's over.It's finally over and I don't want to fight anymore. Robin, please...Fight for your king as much as you have to... but I can't do more. Ihave only one chance for a good life and that's Lily. I don't want usto die on the battlefield and never have the happy life we should"
