Jennie's body startled when she felt a strong arm gently grabs her waist and hug her tightly from behind, and from the smell of his perfume Jennie knew it was Kai.

"Hey, are you ok? You seem occupied." Kai whispered into Jennie's right ear.

Biting her lower lip, Jennie turned around and looked at Kai, the worried expression all over his face was evident. The lines on Kai's forehead was showing, and his brown eyes wore the sad puppy look.

"Hey!" Jennie smiled as she cupped his face with her small and slender hand. Kai was so handsome that night. His hair was not tied up, he let it loose. The color of his dyed hair complimented his facial feature. It made him more manly.

When Jennie brushed her fingertips on Kai's face, she felt his facial hair.

Frowning, she bursted, "You need to shave."

Kai laughed inwardly, then he moved Jennie's hands on his face.

"And you need to stop changing the subject."

Chuckling, Jennie mildly caressed, Kai's arms.

"I'm ok. I'm just a bit tired." Jennie explained, giving Kai a sweet beam.

But Jennie's smile did not stop Kai from worrying her girlfriend.

"Do you want to head out already?" Kai questioned, not taking his eyes on Jennie.

Jennie wanted to say yes, but instead she shook her head.

"I'm all right, Kai. Go, dance with them. I will just sit here for a minute or two; then I'll join you after." Jennie shoved Kai gently.

"Ok, we are leaving." Kai stood up and grabbed his suit that was lying on the couch. He looked at his stainless steel watch. It was past 11, still early he thought to himself, but he cannot allow her girlfriend to go to their hotel alone. Especially in midnight hour.

"No, Kai." Jennie gripped, Kai's right arm to stop him from going to their friends. "Don't." Jennie implored. "Look at them." She pointed Jisoo and the couple. "They're still enjoying and having fun. I don't want to be an ass."

Kai averted his eyes at their friends. He smiled as he watched Jisoo, Ellen, and his bestfriend danced like it was their last.

"Yeah, you're right." Kai looked at Jennie and sighed. "But you're already tired, and besides, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind if we left."

Jennie skimmed her hands to Kai's. She pressed it slightly. "No, Kai. I am the one who's tired, so you can't go with me. You have to stay here."

"What? No way!" Kai said, with a crease forming on his forehead. "I won't let you go home by yourself. It's not happening." Kai shook his head vehemently.
