You know the cliche love story scene when you watch a movie? The scene where the boy saw the love of his life and time suddenly stopped and everything went in slow mo. That kind of movie scene was the reason why I stopped watching a love story. For me, that kind of scene was overused, and unrealistic. It was something I can't imagine in real life.
Ironically, that cliche love story scene is happening to me at this time. I don't know how it happened, the only thing I know is that, the moment I laid my eyes on her everything went abberant. It feels like my ear is blocked and I couldn't hear properly, everything sounded muffled. It feels like all my senses are gone and the only person that I recognized and see is the beautiful woman across the counter.
If this a movie and I am watching it, definitely I would walk out of the theater and never come back. But today I realized that this scenario really exist in real life. And when this thing happened to you, you will really want to do those things that you see in the movie. Run to the side of the person you love and kissed her.
Feeling a hand shaking on my shoulder, I turned my head and see Aidan's. His eyebrows are contracted, and his eyes are giving me a concerned look.
"Are you okay?"
I didn't answer his question, instead I just look at him and study his facial feature. I know how it works with Aidan, if he sense something is wrong, he would drag me and pull me out of the shop. And that is the last thing I want to happen. So, I have to smile and assure him that everything will turn out fine. And just like a magic, my aura becomes different. My lips turn upward and a sweet smile forms on my lips.
"Yeah, everything is alright. Fantastic, actually." Tapping his shoulder, I turn my attention again to the woman who makes my heart beat goes crazy. And as if my feet has its own mind, I start taking steps towards her, but before I can enter to their working area, I was blocked by a beautiful woman. She's above average height with long, dark blond straight hair loosely captured at her neck.

"May I help you?" The woman questions with her eyebrows raised and her eyes intently gazing at my face. I must say, that even she's smaller than me by two inches, she's the type of a woman that is very intimidating. I'm not sure if it's because of her hoarse voice or how her oval shaped eyes look at me with a straight face, or how her thick eyebrows contracted. What I'm only certain is, I am intimated by this woman. And when I am intimidated which is very seldom to happen, I said things that I immediately regret.
"Hi, I am Lisa. Ahm, Lisa Manoban. I'm a supermodel."
Realizing my stupidity, I bite my lower lip, still maintaining a straight eye contact with her, so I would not be obvious that I am being intimidated at this moment. But when I see her fleeting smile and her subtle shift of her eyebrows I know that I fail to hide it.
"Hello, Ms. Manoban." She reaches my hand and shake it. "I am Ms. Chu, the supervisor. How can I help you?" Her voice was calm, but I can sense the strictness and authority in every word that she said.
"Ms Manoban?" She calls out.
I curse myself as I swallowed the lump in my throat, before I speak. "I.. I.. I'm here for Ruby. I'm a good friend of hers." I state, awkwardly smiling at her. I wanted to give her, a sweet smile so I could lure her. But I failed.
"Really?" She chuckles. I'm not sure if I was just imagining it, but I saw her eyes flicker and a fleeting smile again form in her lips. "Ruby? Our Ruby? She repeatedly questioned.
I nod. Giving her an awkward smile.
"Hmm, I did not know she has a supermodel, friend. She laughs, as she gives me a look that I can't comprehend. "I thought she hated supermodel."
