Chapter 6 happy thanks giving (Sarah's POV)

My alarm goes off at 2:30 in the morning, I yawn and pack my bags up. I eat something quick to eat and I see Jerome outside in his car waiting for me.. it's a cold morning and not a single light is on in any of the houses.I step inside the warm car in the front seet. "good morning!" he says. "good morning." I yawn back. we head our way down to the air port.

When we get there their was not as much people there in the air port.. probably Cause it's thanksgiving day.. "can you wait in line and watch my bags? I'm gonna get some coffee.. do you want anything?" he asks politely. "hot chocolate please." I tell him. he nods his head and goes to get the drinks. just as it was almost our turn he comes back and hands me my drink. "Thanks." "no problem!" when we get our luggage situated we go off to those stupid scanning things were they check you for drugs or weapons of some sort. "what happen to you two?" one of the police asks us. me and Jerome look at each other. "we fell out of a tree." Jerome spits out. I swear all guys are idiots. "ya a tree." I repeat. the police man looks at us funny. I understand why he's probably thinking why are young adults climbing trees. "ok.. well, be careful next time.." he says slowly. I grab my backpack and we sit down and wait for our flight.

"We fell out of a tree?!" I yell at him. "that's the best u came up with?" "he was pressuring me.." he says looking down. I sigh and put in some head phones and close my eyes.. before I new it Jerome was shaking me. "wake up! our flight is here!" he yells in my ear. I get up and we make our way into the plane.

Jerome lets me have the window seer when he sits out on the end. "is it ok if a v-log right now?" he asks me. I nod my head at him. "hey guys it's Jerome and I'm gonna do another v-log and I'm here with... fishy!!". "Hey!" I wave. "happy thanksgiving to you guys! sarah and I our gonna go spend thanksgiving together in New Jersey so it will be an awesome thanks giving with a new buddy of mine!" he says in his camera. after awhile he shuts his camera off cause we were about to take off..

During the flight me and Jerome played Mad libs and we listened to some of my music before I new it we both fell asleep the whole flight.

BING WE HAVE LANDED

The loud intercom blasts threw the plane awakening us. "yes were finally here!" Jerome cheers. we get out of the plane and Jerome sees his mom and dad waiting for us. "mom! dad! I want you to meet sarah!" Jerome squeals pushing me towards his parents. "it's very nice to meet you!" she says. we introduce and she finally asks what happened to our arms.... Jerome tells the truth to his parents and they were in shock. "It was my fault! I shouldn't of been looking on my phone!" I can feel the tears coming back in my eyes. "how about we just go back to the house mom." Jerome says changing the subject.

As we pull into there drive way I see how cute there house is! it's not a big house nor small but the perfect size. We step inside and the house is beutiful! "is it ok of you two share a room?" His mom asks me. I shake my head yes and Jerome shows us our room. There is a couch in the room and a full size bed. i think for a sec that me and Jerome probably have to share the bed... I shrug it off and go help with the dinner. I help make the salad with Jerome's mom while Jerome deals with the potatoes. the kitchen is small to me and Jerome bumped into each other and he touches the hand and I touch his. I look up at him and he looks down at me and we both blush and turned around and continued to work. After all the hard work is finished we finally set the table and then then door bell rings. "I will get it!" Jerome's dad says with his hands full. "well hello! you must be Sarah's aunt, uncle and cousins!" Jerome's dad points out. "yes we are!" they say back. after we are done setting the table we call the household to the meal.

I sit down by Jerome and on the other side of me is my cousin I grab Jerome's hand and my cousin Gwen's hand and Jerome's dad starts the prayer. "thank you god for all this wonderful food a beautiful son and his beautiful friends and family. amen." "Amen." we all say. "so what are you thankful for?" Gwen asks me as the whole table goes silent. "well I'm thankful for a great house and a loving family and friends. I'm also thankful for Jerome saving my life." everybody chuckles. "jerome?" I ask him. "I'm thankful for a loving family and awesome friends and very thankful for meeting a beautiful person that I'm glad saved and is sitting by me today." "awww." everyone coos. after everyone says what thee thankful for and eat me and Jerome head upstairs to bed.

I sit on the couch and we watch a movie on the tv in the room. after awhile we fell asleep and I started to hear thunder outside. BOOM! the sound of it scares me cause I had a horrible experience with it before. it started going on for a bit and I decided to go lay next to Jerome in bed to keep me safe. he raps his arm around me and I get closer to him.

The next day

In In the afternoon Jerome asks if I want to go on a walk to the beach. I shakes head and we as in me, him, and we took my cousins as well.. when we get there my cousins run ahead of us while Jerome and I lag behind. Jerome starts walking backwards in front of me and talking! (today he didn't wear the slay around his arm. It's all Better now) "we should jump In the water!" Jerome says. "ha! no way it's to cold!" I say we start laughing and I wasn't looking wear I was going and I trip over a clam shell or something big and I land right into Jerome's arms. I look up at him while he's holding me and he looks at me. I start to regain balance but this time Jerome and I keep gazing into each other's eyes. "you two should kiss!" my cousins yells. we both look at her and he he looks back at me he grabs my face and and....
