Chapter 10 (Sarah's POV) never better

After that fight Lydia couldn't sleep that night, she came into my room and slept in my bed. I could care less we've been friends since 2nd grade I mean like come on!

When the morning approached I got myself together and texted Jerome, this is what we talked about

Me: mornin

Jerome: hey there little fish! how's Lydia doing?

Me: she couldn't fall asleep and she came in my room and cried herself to sleep

Jerome: ohh sorry to hear that. later today me and Mitch are going to have a picnic, you and Lydia wanna join?

Me: sure it will be fun!

Jerome: ok ttyl 😘

Me: ttyl! 😉

I threw my phone onto the couch and got some cereal. lazy little Lydia comes moping down when she heard me pour the milk. "sleep well?" I ask. "yeah." she says. " were going on a walk later with Jerome and mitch!" I tell her. her eyes widen up. "really?" "ya" I say. "is Mitch ok?" She asks concerned. "Never better!" I say taking my first bite of cereal. when I eat my breakfast Lydia goes and takes a shower and gets ready. as I finish breakfast and I go up to my room to get dressed. I throw on some skinny jeans and a American eagle shirt and vans. I walk down stairs and see that Lydia is also wearing skinny jeans like always and a graphic t shirt and her vans also. we go outside and find out it's pretty nice outside. "what a nice day for a picnic!" Lydia says to herself. we get to the guys house and ring the door bell.

"ITS THE FISH AND DA STAR!" sky answers the door. We laugh and we go inside and sit on there couch. "they should be done soon." sky calms down. just as he said that Jerome and Mitch come leaping down the steps. "ready?" he asks grabbing the basket. "ready." we say back. we head down the the car and Jerome drives and I sit in the front with him while lydia and Mitch sit in the back. "are you ok?" Lydia asks breaking the silence in the car. "yah I'm good just a couple bruises. I look back at Mitch and had a bruise under his right eye. It wasn't a black eye it's just a bruise. "Were here!" Jerome says getting out of the car.

We step outside and I realize how beautiful it was here! "wow!" I say amazed. I look around and see a rope that you grab onto and swing into the water and there were rocking chairs and swings! "i love swings!" I scream heading over to one. Jerome puts down the basket on the table and runs over to me and pushes me "wee!" I scream.

(Mitch's POV)

I watch Jerome push sarah on the swing for a minute then I snap back to reality and remember how I told Lydia how we shouldn't of kissed. no wonder she's quiet.. I walk over to her and place my hand on her cheek, she grabs my hand and pulls it away. "Lydia I didn't mean to-" "I know" she says without even making me finish. "I, it's just that. I" she looks at me waiting for a reply. "I didn't know he liked you if I knew I wouldn't of kissed you. well, maybe I still would of I just didn't know you would hate me and-" before I could finish she gives me a shy kiss. "I never said i hated you!" she cheers up a bit. I smile and grab her hand and lead her over to the rope by the lake.

We walk down by the edge of the water and I say "watch this!" I pick up a rock and I made it skip across the water. "let me try!" she picks up a rock and tries to make it skip. "oh, I'm not really good at doing that..." She says scratching her head. just before I threw another rock I look up from the ditch we were in and see Jerome and sarah coming our way. "I dare you to jump in!" I yell up to Jerome. Jerome shrugs and says "challenged accepted!" He takes off his hat, his shirt, his sunglasses and his shoes and belt and hands them to sarah. poor sarah. Jerome grabs the the rope swings into the water "woooo!" he screams and we hear a splash. "I can't believe he did that!" sarah says in shock.He comes to the surface and says "holy dicks that's cold!" He comes out of the water and makes his way to Sarah "woo!" He screams taking his clothes back. "Your crazy dude!" I state. "Hey it was worth it!" He points to me. As Jerome dries off we head back up to the picnic bench to eat.

"Ok so we backed some dr. Pip, half a sandwich, and some fruit loops for sarah.." I say "yum I love fruit loops!" She says grabbing the box. "And Lydia I got you the other half of the sandwich , coke, and whipped cream..." I say "yay!" She cheers on grabbing her food. "And buddy I packed you some chips, Mountain Dew and a sub." I say handing it to him. "What do you have?" He says unwrapping his sandwich. "I have the same as you except my drink is crush." I tell him. "Wow." He says with a mouth full.

As we finish our food Jerome gets really cold so we decided to head back to the house. "It was still worth it." He says sitting in the back seat this time. We all laugh and I turn up the radio. The A team comes on. Sarah starts to sing quiet at first then Lydia joins in with her and as soon as I new it me and Jerome start to sing along to. Wow sarah and Lydia are great singers! When the song ends I tell them that they should sing with Adam sometime! "OMG that's like my dream!" Sarah spits out. "Ya that would be so much fun!" Lydia joins in.

We finally get inside and Jerome runs uncomfortably inside to change and get the lake smell out of him. "AAANNNDD IIIII EEE IIII WILL ALWAYSS LOVE UUU!" Adam sings real loudly coming down the steps. "Hey sky! You, Lydia and sarah should sing a song in a recording studio sometime! The girls will love it!" I look over at the girls and they have a big smile across there faces and nodding there heads. "Ya sure that will be cool." He agrees. "Yay! Thanks Adam!!" The girls say happily. "When will you take them?" "Well first we gotta practice a song. And learn it, then we can go and record." He explains. "Oh yah." I scratch my head. "Jason can help us do that." Adam says. "Wait but-" Lydia shakes. "It's ok Jason was having a bad day he said sorry he didn't mean it." Adam explains. "I don't know.." Lydia steps back " you know what he did to Mitch I don't want them fighting anymore!" She raises her voice. "Lydia it's ok I'm ok." I try to calm her down. "It will be fun! Come on Lydia!" Sarah starts to head upstairs with sky. "Umm." Lydia starts to grab onto my arm. "It's ok you can stay down here if you want to." I say to her.

(Sarah's POV)

When I follow Adam upstairs I can tell that Lydia still was a little frightened about the fight.. "Jason? You in there?" Sky says knocking on his door. "Well hello! You guys need anything?" He says opening the door. "Yes sarah and I wanna make a music video and we need your help." "I'm glad to help, come in! Come in!" We walk inside and I see that he was making a new music video. "So you wanna do a cover or something?" He asks me. "Uhh sure!" "Cool cool did you have a song in mind?" Jason asks pulling up google on his computer. "Hmm sky have you heard the song royals? Or sweater weather?" "Ya I heard those songs before do you wanna do royals?" He asks me. "Oh ya!" I cheer on. "Ok cool!" Jason pulls up a karaoke version and leaves to go get two microphones. He comes back in and puts a mic by me and sky and he hooks it up to his computer. We practice for a bit until it was time for dinner. I come downstairs and see that Mitch got pizza I look around and can't find Lydia.. "Hey Mitch weres Lydia?" "Oh she went to get her computer and she's playing minecraft with Quentin and Ian." I smirk at him and grab a slice of pizza, I look around and see Jerome in his pjs "haha Jerome." I laugh and realize that he has his head phones in. He's humming along to a song he was listening to and I walk up in front of his and wave. "Oh OMG I thought you left!" I laugh and nod my head no. He starts to blush and he walks away to get a slice of pizza. I just laugh. I guess everyone up stairs smelt the pizza because they all came down including Lydia and grabbed a slice of pizza we all say down together.. We all ate pizza and told jokes. Later that night Lydia and were ready to go home I hugged Jerome and he kissed me on my forehead and Lydia said her goodbye to Mitch and we went home. Wow. What a busy day!
