Chapter 26 the chosen one (Lydia's POV)

I start the engine and slowly drive away from the house. man I can't believe I'm doing this! The only place were I know he will be. the park. I park the car and leap out of it and scan around, there's his car! I let out a little cheer and walk into the park area. "Mitch?" I scream "Mitch?" I tell again but still no reply. but as soon as when I was going to give up I see his brown hair down by the lake. "Mitch!" I shout in joy. "Mitch isn't here right now.." he sniffles..

(Mitch's POV)

I hear Lydia call my name a couple times but I deiced not to Answer her. she broke my heart I didn't know she was cheating on me! I wipe away a tear, grab a stick and trace the water. "Mitch!" Lydia screams again but this time she found me. "Mitch isn't here right now." I sniffle. "Mitch stop playing around!" she yells. "you think I'm- playing around?!" I look over at her with my red puffy eyes. she keeps quiet and I continue. "I saw you back their flirting with that man, he's a criminal! and I thought you were mine." I began to sink back down. "I was not flirting!" "yes! you were!" we began to have a fight. "I loved you!" I spit out when she was yelling at me and she stops speaking for once and just stares deeply into my soul with her brown eyes she has. "I just need a break." she nearly gags on her on words. she steps away from the scene slowly. I just need a break.. just hearing those words come out of her mouth terrifies me. "I'm sorry ok!" I yell at her but I'm not sure if she heard or not..

(Lydia's POV)

I just need a break from him and Joey, of course I chose Mitch but I can tell he's pretty pissed off at me. "I'm sorry ok!" I hear him cry from down by the river but I ignore it and step into my car and drive back home. when I was getting back home it started raining, and I'm stuck in traffic. "perfect." I mumble to myself. it took long but I got back home safely and unlocked the door and stepped inside. the first step I took I hear moto running down the steps to greet me. "hey boy." I whisper to the dog. I kneel down beside him and he licks my face. "haha looks like someone is happy to..." Sarah stops what she's saying and stares at my face. "I chose Mitch." I mutter. she still looks at me with a confused look. "we are taking some time away from each other." "ohh." she starts to twirl her blonde straight hair around her fingers. "weres Jerome?" I ask changing the subject. "out with his friends." she rolls her eyes and lays down onto the couch.

(Mitch's POV)

I get home soon after Lydia does. I walk inside the house and Jerome wraps me in his arms. "you ok?" he looks up at me. I nod my head and place my head on his shoulder. I sure do have a great friend. "come on I know what will make you happy." Jerome lets me go and we walk into his room together. "Adam is filming so we have to be quiet." he whispers back at me and I nod my head. he opens his bedroom door and I step inside. "we can watch the hobbit! your favorite!" ahh he knows me so well. I let out a little smile and we both lay down in bed and watch the hobbit on his computer. in the middle of the movie Adam comes busting threw the door and shoots us with nerf guns. "I'm gonna get you Adam!" Jerome hops out of bed and pulls a nerf gun from under his bed and chases after him leaving me alone. in his room. on a rainy day. I could hear the two of them down there shooting each other and I pull out my phone and start flipping threw my pictures. there's a lot of them of Lydia and I. I could feel the tears streaming down my cheeks when I look threw them. dang I messed up.. I deiced to text Lydia, even though she's mad at me...

Me: Lydia I know your mad at me baby girl but please listen to me, I love you I will never hurt you I'm a good Benja please I don't want no break I can't last a day without you.

I sent the message and I just waited until she replied.. if she does reply is the real question...

Lydia: I'm sorry too I love you with all my heart I want you back.

The tears vanished off my cheeks and I was filled with joy. yes! we made up! I was so exited I ran into the pouring rain just to see her and there she was in the road waiting for me. I rain over and picked her up and twirled her around like she was flying and I kissed her in the rain. "I'm so sorry." she places her forehead against mine and we walk inside her house. "weres sarah?" I ask. "she said she was going to the store.. I don't know what's taking her so long though.." lydia picks up her phone and texts her. "weird.. she normally answers my texts right away." Lydia says. Just then her phone starts to ring. it's sarah. "hello?" "hel-p m-me!" I hear sarah scream from Lydia's phone. "sarah!" Lydia does a blood crying scream.
