Chapter 19 Oh the holidays (Jerome's POV)

Last night was fun but today will be better because it's Christmas! Yay! I'm so exited to see what everyone has got me! And I'm hoping that Jackson won't propose. That gives me the shivers. I let moto go outside to use the bathroom and I hurry to get him inside before somebody sees him. Sarah's going to love him! I walk outside to get the mail and I see Jackson walking outside to get sarah and Lydia's mail. "What did you get sarah for Christmas?" He asks me. "Why should I say." I say meanly. "Look man I didn't mean to hurt your feelings when I kissed her." He apologizes. "Don't talk to me." I mutter. "Ok what ever, freak." He mumbles under his breath. I flick him off when he walked away. I run back inside to get warm and I place the mail on the table. "So." I turn around and see Mitch drinking out of his hobbit cup. "You scared me I didn't see you there." I say out of breath. "Sorry I'm not sorry." He sips on his drink again. "Need.. Something?" I ask concerned, he is just staring at me. "Nope." He continues to stare. "Your jealous!" He spits out as soon as I walk away. I turn my head to face him and he has his mouth on his straw and he disappears into the kitchen. I walk away slowly and run into my room. I get a text from sarah it says merry Christmas! 😄🎄🎅🎁🎉 I love the little emojis she puts. I text her back the same. We sit and text for a bit until it was time to go over.

I grab the food and head over with everyone else. Jason knocks on the door and Lydia answers it this time. "come in!" she insists. we walk in and I see sarah putting Christmas presents under the tree, I walk over to her. "merry Christmas!" I pay her shoulder. "you too!" she smiles. "I'm so exited! I love seeing what everyone got!" she cheers. "Same!" I smile at her. wow she's perfect. the way she smiles is amazing, it will light up the whole town.

I scoot towards the fire and watch it dance on the logs. soon enough Mitch sits right by me. "you ok?" he looks at me. "ya I'm good." I had a feeling it will be ok. "PRESENT TIME!" sky comes running out the kitchen and Lydia trails behind. sarah hands everyone there presents and I give a glare at jackson. "who will open first?" Lydia asks the group. "I will get yours first lydia!" Mitch gets up and goes out side to get it. Lydia has a confused look on her face, just like in my dream. well it was really a nightmare. Anywise, he comes back in with the same cardboard box like in my dream and covered in snow.

He places it right In front of her, and she claws open the box. "a kitten!" she shrieks. "thank you so much!" she gives Mitch a big hug. "Lydia I've wanted to ask you this the moment I met you." he grabs her hand. "the moment I met you, I wanted you. wanted to have you. will you go out with me?" he asks. boom Shaka laka! thats my boy! "yes!" she has a big smile across her face. "aww." sarah coos. "I will get Sarah's." Jackson says. my heart starts to beat extremely fast. here it goes, he hands the box to her. she unwraps the small box and slowly and carefully opens it. I start to feel sweat run down my face. "Jackson! it's so cute thank you!!" she wraps her hands around her. she holds up the gift and I look closer at it and I see its a little fish necklace! I let out a big sigh and lay back.

I open all of my gifts and this is what I got from everyone. Adam got me a stuffed bacca, Ian got me a new wallet, which I needed, Jason got me a iTunes gift card, Lydia got me a bracelet which says fishy and star. and sarah got me gta 5. how sweet!

Mitch got, from me, a case for his Gunnar's, Adam got him a bow and arrow, Ian got him a key chain of a creeper and a poster go to with it, Jason also got him a iTunes gift card, Lydia got him a hat and some hobbit stuff and sarah got him a shirt that says fishy and star fo' days! and it has 2 iron axes on the shirt.

Lydia got a kitten of course from Mitch and I got her a kitten bed which is red. Ian got her a star that lights up, Adam got her a poster of a pig from minecraft, Jason get her not one but 2 iTunes gift cards and sarah got her chocolate and cooking supplies and vans.

Finally sarah opens all of hers, Adam got her a cow minecraft stuffed animal, Ian got her gta 5, Jason got her a ...iTunes gift card... Lydia got her vans, finally Mitch got her a doggy bed. she looked confused until I brought her In moto. "OMG!!! it's the dog I wanted!" I saw tears of joy in her eyes. "I love you thank you!" she grabs me and I twirl her around.

We finally went home because it was already midnight.. I lay my head down and take a big deep breath and slowly fall straight to sleep.

My dream

It was just me and sarah, we went to a place and laid in the middle of the road and watched the traffic lights changed to one color to another. "what if a car comes?" she looks over at me. "we die." I quote the notebook. she lets out a little laugh and she closes her eyes. I also close me eyes and just think happy thoughts. I was dazing off some until I here a car horn. I quickly get up and I try to wake up sarah. "sarah get up! get up!" I pull her arm but it was to late.
