Chapter 31 (Sarah's POV) more bad luck

It's been two weeks since my birthday and I feel like a new person. This time I decided to get up and make pancakes even though I'm a bad cool I thought I would give Lydia a little brake of cooking cause that's all she does is cook! While I'm mixing up the pancake mix my cell phone rings, I glance over at my phone and see it's Jackson.

"Hello?" I say. "Sarah! Thank god you picked up!" His voice sounds shaky.. "Jackson are you-" "my apartment! It's gone!" He yells. I just nearly about drop my phone. "What do you mean, gone.." I ask confused. "All there is is rubble and dust and some smoke. It burned down, and I can't find my friend." "Jackson, first calm down please," I beg. "You don't understand he was t friend since preschool and now he's dead!" I could hear him starting to cry. "I'm so sorry Jackson-" I started to tear up a little to because I know who he's talking about, his friends name is joe and he's autistic, he's really nice but I guess he didn't get out in time. "I will call you later." Jackson hangs up the phone before I can say goodbye, Lydia comes flying down the steps cause she heard a crash. "WHAT. WAS. THAT!" She screams still half asleep. She looks down and sees a broken plate. "Jesus Christ Sarah!" She yells at me then she looks over at my face, I have tears rolling down my cheeks and lands on the ground. "What's wrong?" She asks wiping away the tears. "Joe- he's..." I could barely get the words out of my mouth. "Dead." I finish. I face Lydia and I could just see her heart drop. (She also knows who joe is) "dead? How?" "Jackson and joes apartment complex burned down and he must of been stuck in their.." I sniffle. We stayed quiet for a bit until my phone starts to ring again. "It's Jackson." I say to Lydia while picking up the phone on the 2nd ring. "Hello?" "Sarah." He says with a cracked voice "I know I was just there but can I stay with you guys? It may take me awhile to get there cause I have to drive.. I'm low on money.." "You can stay with us for as long as you want." I say. "Thanks." "Your welcome." Me and Jackson talk awhile on the phone until moto wanted to go on a walk. I say goodbye to Jackson and grab Motos leash and head out the front door.

It's a beautiful spring afternoon, the sun is up and not a cloud in the sky. "Sarah! Hey!" I hear a familiar voice, it's Ian, "hey Ian." I say hiding my face for he doesn't see the redness in my eyes. "Hey can I join you on your walk?" He asks excitedly. I nod my head and he walks right by my side. "Everything alright? You seem sad." "Yeah.." My voice cracks. Of course now he knows something is wrong." "Tell me what's wrong!" He begs. "Jackson is going to be staying at me and Lydia's house for awhile.." I mumble. "Why?" I remain silent. "Sarah-" "I don't wanna talk about it ok?!" I raise my voice and stare at him. "I'm sorry I didn't-" "Ian please leave me alone!" I beg. Ian slowly walks away and goes back into the house. I decide to go back into the house to and talk with Lydia.

When I get back Into the house I check my phone.. I have 2 new messages from Jerome and 1 from Adam. I decide to ignore them and go upstairs and ask Lydia if she wants to film, just to get my mind off of things. I knock on the door three times, "hey wanna play a map?" I ask. "Sure." I hear her faded voice. I run back to my room and launch up minecraft and skype, I Skype call lydia and she picks up.

"What should we play?" I ask. "Want to play the hunger games?" she asks. "sure!" we get into sky's server and I start recording, "hey guys! it's fishy or Sarah here! sorry I haven't been on in awhile but it's because I have a life! I know it seems crazy-" "girl you cray." Lydia interrupts. "Haha anyways as you can see in here with star or As I should say, Lydia and we are gonna play the hunger games!" I yell. "WOOP WOOP!" Lydia yells louder. we get into a game and it is just about to start. "3..2..1!" We run off of our starting block thingy and go straight to the chests. I open up a chest and grab a wooden sword and some cooked meat. I find Lydia and we run out into the woods. "Sarah! theirs a guy behind you!" Lydia yells. I quickly turn around and shank him with my wooden sword. "thank the lord! he wanted my drugs! I wasn't gonna give them to him!" I joke around. "haha no kidding! I payed for them!" Lydia adds in. "give me my crack dood!" Lydia jokes around. we both burst into laughing. just then I find a chest and I run over to get it. "ITS A PONY!!!" I yell spawning a horse. Lydia starts to laugh when she sees my horse. She must of seen the vidoe that sky posted with the horse. (if you haven't seen it, you have to see it!) Lydia jumps over to my horse and starts to beat it. "STAHP! STAHP!" I yell still laughing. just then she kills it. "it had to be put down, it had horse cancer." she says in a calm voice. "h-horse cancer?" I say trying not to laugh. "yeah, it's a disease that only Minecraft horses get." "I worry about you." I mumble. We play for a awhile and Lydia wins the game. "I WIN!!" she cheers. "oh shut up I would've won if you would've hit me off the cliff." I pout. "anyway guys, that was the hunger games, I hope you liked that an if you did like it, like the video of course! Thanks guys!" I stop recording and I log out of minecraft. "well at least I cheered up a bit." I scratch my head. "yeah same." I Lydia says. "I guess I'm gonna go downstairs and eat dinner, wanna join?" Lydia asks. "sure." I log out of Skype and Lydia and I both open our bedroom doors at the same time. I let out a little smile and follow her down the stairs. Just don't worry about tomorrow cause tomorrow isn't tonight.
