"You want to know how did we became like this, don't you? Well let me tell you. . . . . . It's all a dream. WAKE UP."
She gasped loudly as she woke up. Pushing herself up fast, she summoned her sword from instinct. It was all a dream? She asked herself. But she still didn't believe it. Sending her sword back into the pocket dimension, she looked around. The RUINS. She sighed and touched her soft face. Starting to walk, the girl stepped into the next room. Just as expected the flower was there, waiting for her to arrive.
"Flowey." She greeted as she passed him. A long vine wrapped around her leg. She was pulled back and raised in the air, facing the flower. "Don't get too close to them. This time is even worse. I-I don't w-want you dying on me." A small tint of red was painting his petals Dafuck is that? Is he sick or something? He dropped her on the dirt with a thud and disappeared underground. "Tsk. Tsundere." She said as she rubbed the back of her head. Standing up, she looked one more time at the hole in the ground and left to SAVE monsters. And finally free them all for good.
--------------
There are many differences and similarities between humans -like Frisk- , human-monsters -like Y/n- and monsters -like Sans-. For example, Y/n and Sans. These two people. They are very similar. They both lost family and friends to what is supposed to be a close friend or so. They both want peace but they can never maintain it for. . .reasons. *cough cough* genocide *cough cough*. Both very powerful and wise. Both anxious and depressed.
Second pov.Do you want it to change? Did you ever did anything to stop it? No. Neither did he. Did you ever try to fight back when you had nothing to lose? Yes, you did. You won. He did not. Frisk had the power to RESET. Jiro did not. Jiro was weak, so was Frisk. But Sans became predictable. So he got killed. And after all he did. All of that remained. . .in the end it all RESET. He trusted Frisk. You did too. And what happened? You got killed. . .along with him. With Sans.
You two are the same. So were Frisk and Jiro.
The only difference between you two is. . .You have hope. Sans does not.Or at least did not. Seeing you so hopeful and DETERMINED, it made him want more. It returned him the feeling of hope. He didn't want to give up. Not anymore.
You wanted nothing but to save your friends. Your family. Or what's left of it. It made him feel safe. Warm inside. But when the time came for you to catch the killer, to kill him. You face made him scared. He saw the genocidal nature you held. It broke his heart to know that he loved a killer. A genocidal creature. You noticed how he looked at you from time to time. What his eyes said. You felt . . . broken. You felt your heart breaking. But you didn't blame him. You tried to hide the fact that you loved him. You tried to stop thinking about it. And you didn't.
Can't you see? You gave him hope. But your nature took it back. You love him but you try to deny it. And yet. . .you succeed with grace. You acted like you didn't fucking care. Because you were so fucking scared. Of what he might say. Of how much it would hurt. Like it hurt when Shin died by the hands of your step father. The man you hated the most. And yet you kept strong. And let love fall behind. You put love on the last place and saving the ones you care about on the first. You decided that, if you would have to give your life to save the people you love. . .then so be it.
---------
Finally arriving at the door of the small house in the ruins, you looked at it.
Seeing such a small, nice house in such a rotten place, fills you with JUSTICE.
A wave of bravery filled your senses as you heard the soft voice talk to you. You looked right. Nothing. You looked left. Still nothing. You looked behind you. A silhouette of a tall boy stood there, starring at you in the eye. He looked sad. "A. . .human?" You called silently. You can. . .see me? The boy asked. You nodded slowly and reached a hand to touch his brown hair, but it fazed right through. You can't touch me. But I can. You understood. The boy was a ghost.
You shed a tear. Sadness overwhelmed you. Everything around you died. Everyone. You fell to your knees and covered your face with your palms. Tears started pouring from you eyes like rain from the starry skies. The ghost kneed in front of you and put his arms around you. His warm touch, made your heart skip a beat and you cried harder.
Shh. I know what your thinking. It was the same for me. People called me a demon because I had red eyes. And all I ever wanted was a home and family. I wanted to die. Nobody wanted me. I was. . .the monster in their eyes. I thought I useless and not worth of the life that god gave me. So one day I found that hole. And I jumped. And guess what. I ended up, here where monsters treated me like family. Even tho they barely knew me. Trust me. I felt the same. But you are no real monster. You calmed down by the time he was finished. He held you by the shoulders and pulled you up. Now. Let's go and SAVE Toriel. Shall we? You nodded and entered the house quietly.
A soft yet disturbing song was playing in the kitchen. Water could be heard rushing in the sink where pots and pans were clattering. Stepping in the living room, the comfy sofa that once Toriel sat on, reading books for the humans that came through the underground, now had scratch marks and blood sticking on it. The fireplace that was once lit, making every soul feel like they were home was filled with ash and dry blood. It saddened you. Knowing that children once lived with her.
"M-mom? You called out. Realizing what you just did, your eyes widen and you took a step back. Heavy footsteps were closing in on you. You panicked. "M-My child?" A soft voice came from the direction of the kitchen. A cold hand was placed on your shoulder. You turned your head to see the boy. He was giving you a patient smile. You turned your head back and what you saw surprised you. The goat lady was standing there a hand-paw (whatever it is ) covered her mouth and tears blurred her vision.
"M-m-my child. . . You c-came back. . . " She gripped her thorn dress with her free hand. Her form flickered for a second. (you know what I mean ) You brighten up and smile warmly. "I missed you so much. . ." She continued. "You remember me?" You asked. Surprisingly she nodded.
A crazed smile creeped up her face and flames engulfed her paws. N-No. . . You heard him say. Frowning, you clenched your fist. She did not hesitate to throw fireballs at you. You dodged every one of them with grace but one. It hit your leg which led you to fall on the ground.
Your round.
FIGHT *ACT ITEM MERCY*Toriel
*Hug Talk Persuade Use spell FlirtYou chose to hug Toriel. When the boy finally reached to check my states, his eyes widen and his mouth was left agape. As you approached Toriel, you closed your eyes, knowing what he saw. The feeling of guilt was all over you now. You hated it. Pulling the goat lady into a tight embrace, she was left speechless. So was he. How can you control it? How am I not gaining it? How? But you remained silent. Her form flickered again. But this time, all her attacks avoided you and she looked away.
Your round.
FIGHT ACT ITEM *MERCY*Toriel
Spare Flee *SaveYou chose to spare her. To tell her everything will be okay if she just tries. She flickered and this time as the old woman fell on her knees, her dirty fur, her blood shot eyes, her expression and her behavior were different. She was back to normal. Finally. It was harder than you thought. You sighed in relief and sat down in front of her. She looked you in the eye as she cried. You try to comfort her as much as you can and it seems to be working. "M-my child. What happened to your eye? Where's Frisk?" Her questions took you off guard and you were taken aback by them. You huffed and looked away, signaling you didn't want to answer. But you did anyway. "My eye. . .Lets just say. . .One of the three stars. . .fell. And Frisk. . . . ." You trailed off. Both of their eyes widen. "Is he. . ." Dead? You nodded hesitantly. You could practically hear the woman's heart break in a million pieces. You tried to comfort her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Stay safe my child and make sure you bring everyone back." The goat lady said as she waved goodbye to you. As you exited the big doors, a long hallway was waiting for you to pass it. "So. . . I never got your name. By the way, I'm Y/n." You said while looking at the ground with your hands in your pockets as you were walking. Chara. He said. A weird feeling of deja vu was washing over you. "Nice name." You replied. The name sounded really familiar to you but you just couldn't reach and touch it. Tell me, Y/n. How do you control it? How does it not affect me? Chara asked, conflicted. "LOVE? Pills. I take pills. . .Wait. I forgot to take them." You searched your pockets for the container. You found it easily since it was just in your pocket. Taking one from the container you immediately swallowed it and closed the container putting it back in your pocket.
You kept walking. So how do you know Frisk? "He was my brother." You stopped and looked in Chara's eyes. "You look so much like him, you know?"
I know. He used to tell me that a lot.A/n
