Your pov. (Yes finally.)
Opening my [eye color] eye, I looked to my right. There stood the tall skeleton was staring down at me with a large grin. "GOOD MORNING, HUMAN! THE GREAT PAPYRUS MADE YOU SOME SPAGHETTI!" I slightly cringed from his loud tone but smiled anyway. I pushed myself into a sitting position and put a hand over my mouth as I yawned. "THE GREAT PAPYRUS LEFT YOU A PLATE OF HIS FAMOUS SPAGHETTI ON THE COUNTER IN THE KITCHEN. THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS GOING TO RECALIBRATE THE PUZZLES! NYEHEHE!" The skeleton spoke again in the same tone. A loud slam boomed throughout the house as Papyrus closed the door behind him. I seemed that this skeleton did not know the meaning of quiet.
"I wonder how he didn't wake me up earlier." I said to myself. Of course the answer would be left unknown. I could never seem to understand him. Papyrus was always the one equation I could not solve. Even tho for some people he seems easy to read, in my eyes there always seemed to be more to him than I first noticed. But that's something to solve later on.
I swung my legs on the side of the couch and stood up, my bare feet touching the cold wooden floor. I intertwined my fingers and on instinct my hands extended upwards as I stretched. A few seconds passed and I let my hands fall beside me. The floor creaked as i began to walk towards the kitchen. The distant smell of burnt spaghetti made my nose scrunch up in slight disgust. As I entered the kitchen, I noticed a certain ghost sitting on the counter. "Hey.." I said sheepishly. His head turned to me and he raised a hand to wave at me. He seemed eerily happy. My head tilted to the side, I slowly walked over to him with my hands behind my back.
As soon as I was in front of him, I looked him in the eye. Something wrong? He asked with a raised brow as he stared down at me. I shook my head and pushed away the thought. I moved away from Chara and carefully eyed the spaghetti, Papyrus left me. The noodles were slightly burnt, the sauce though didn't seem so bad. I took a clean fork from the dishwasher and plunged it into the spaghetti. Chara's eyes widen. I raised the fork to my lips and opened up my mouth. Just when I was about to take a bite, someone interrupted me. Yes you guessed it. "i wouldn't do that if i were you." The voice said. My head snapped to the voice's direction. There stood Sans with crossed arms, leaning his back against the door frame. Chara sighed in relief.
"Why not? They don't seem so bad." Emphasis on 'so'. I furrowed my brows and hesitantly took a bite. As my tongue touched the burnt spaghetti, I immediately regretted my decision. The taste was indescribable. SPIT IT OUT! SPIT IT OUT! SPIT IT OUT! The ghost boy yelled. He can feel the taste too? I thought. YES I CAN! He yelled again. A surprised expression creeped up my face.I quickly swallowed it as to not torture the boy any longer. A sigh of relief escaped our mouths as the taste finally disappeared. A chuckle filled the air and my head turned into Sans's direction once again. "told ya." He said as his grin widening. You know that moment when you should be mad or embarrassed but the other person's smile is just too contagious? Well that happened. A smile tugged at my lips as I looked away. Just then, my stomach grumbled and an idea popped out in my mind. "Hmm. Let's make some pie! And maybe some tea would be nice too!" I exclaimed with a grin. I had just the perfect recipe in mind.
To my enlightenment, Sans nodded his head and I sqeeled in excitement. "Let's do this!"
~~~~~~~~~~~Okay. Now it only remains to put it in the oven and wait for it to be ready. "Sans did you--" I didn't get to finish my sentence cause when I turned around, two cups of golden flower tea sat on the table with steam coming out of them. The aroma of the tea was appealing. You could almost hear it whispering 'Come on. take a sip. I'm delicious.' Sans sat at the table with his chin in his hand and with an elbow propped on the table. "Smells nice." You praised. It was rare to see the short skeleton that he did cooked something of helped with anything, so a little praise wouldn't hurt. His cheeks took a light shade of blue. "thanks."
The ding of the oven made my ears perk up and turn around. I swiftly grabbed the kitchen glove and opened the oven to pull out the pie. Warm steam engulfed my face as soon as I pulled out the tray. The smell of freshly baked pie filled my nostrils and I put the tray on the table. I took a knife from the counter and cut a few slices. I could see the skeleton tense at the sight of me holding the knife. I gave him a reassuring smile and put the knife down.
It was like a drug. Once I took a bite from a slice I felt like I was beginning to obsess over it. It was the first time I tried this recipe and with a god's luck, I nailed it. A smile creeped up my face as I took another bite and sipped the delicious tea.
