The Search Part 1

Sans's pov.
I can't belive it! What the fuck! He's.....dead...again. Who will I have to fight this time? I don't know. But I'm sure as hell that they aren't gonna have a good time. I'm so sick of this crap! I frowned. Ehh... as good as a skeleton can. What if... they don'g have the determionation soul? What if....they can't reset? What then? ......I was shaking my head to try to clear my skull when I noticed Y/n had a dark ass shadow over her beautiful (e/c) eye. W-wait! What the heck am I talking about! I need to concentrate. We have to find the human who did this. I moved my gaze from place to place while walking and everywhere we went there were piles of dust. That dirty killer is gonna pay for making all of them suffer. For making my bro suffer..... I could feel warmth on my cheek bones as I raised my bony hand to toutch it. I was crying and didn't even realise it. I quickly whipe them away with the sleeve of my jacket. I looked back in the direction of Y/n. She had her gaze fixed on the way we were walking. Her (e/c) orbs were dull and almost lifeless. 'Does this happen everytime she loses someone close to her? ' I thought to myself. She was a interesting individual and a warm and in the same time cold hearted persona. It was intriguing to say the least. As I noticed I was starring I shifted my gaze back to the road. By the time we were in waterfall near a place where MonsterKid used to hang out a lot. Poor kid. He was probably killed too. This feeling I...well feel when I'm around Y/n. She has this aura around her. Is so strange. So powerfull. Yet attracting. It fells good to be around her. It feels safe. I love this feeling. It's just. Even when there's scilence...... it feels confortable. It's not awkward like it was when it were Frisk I was walking with. Hanging out with. Even tho he was my best friend. I sighed. "You wanna sit down, Sans?" She asked gently so she wouldn't scare me. I nodded. She stoped and turned to her right and walked to the edge of the wooden path. She sat down. I followd suit and ploped down next to her. She turned to look at me with her emotionless eye. I returned the gaze, only mine was.......different. Probably full of sadness. I turned my skull to stare into the water. "Y'hungry, kid?" I asked keeping my gaze fixated into the water. I didn't get a reply. I turned to look at her. She was probably lost in her own world. She was leaning her self on her palms and was looking at the 'stars'. Several momena later she snaped out of her trance and replied softly. "Nah." I chuckeld. "What's so funny?" She asked. "I was thinking. How come you didn't try to eat me or Paps when you had the chance. Y'know, how you're a wolf and all." I stated simply answering her question. She tensed when she heard Paps name. But laughed it off. "Good question." She said. "'Couse first, I don't eat my friends and second, I'm not interested in bones. Y'bone-head." She closed her eye. "Ok." I said yawning. She got up and helped me up too. "We sould find a cave or something. So we could sleep." She looked around. I noded and we walked off. After a few minutes of walking we found a cave. We headed inside and she prepaired a bonefire. Ofcourse with magic. I leaned on one of the walls and slid down.  She did the same and she fell asleep almost imediatly. I smiled and closes my eyesockets and drifted to sleep.  
                   Time skip.

I opend my eyesockets and looked around. I saw Y/n and she was in the same position as last night. Only she had a blanket over her. And so did I. I moved my gaze around more and spoted Akiro. He was leaning against the entrance's wall. "Oh. Sup, Akiro." I said loud enough so Y/n wouldnt wake up. He looked at me and smiled. "Ah. I see you woke up. Sleept well?" He asked. " Yeah. Thanks for the blankets." I said. He snaped his fingers and my blanket was gone. He moved his gaze outside the cave.

After a few more minutes, Y/n woke up and imediatly spoted me and Akiro. She then saw the blanket. Two seconds later a snap of fingers was heard and the blanket was gone. Akiro turned to us again and gave us a quick smile and winked at Y/n and dessapeard. When he turned she wanted to say something but it all happend too fast. So she just shut her mouth and huffed. She got up and streched. I got up as well and walked over to her. She looked at me. "How many times did you say 'thanks' to him?"" Only once. When he had his back turned to me. The rest of the time he would just leave before I could." She answers flatly. "Welp let's go. We gotta find the human right?" I ask. She noded. We kept walking until we reached Hotlands.

We kept walking for a bit until she stoped and turned around looking at the ground,she then turned back and kept walking. Eventually we reached Alphys's lab. She looked sad. Almost depresed. For a brief second there I could see Alphys beside her with a gentle smile on her face and with a hand on Y/n's shoulder. A tear droped from Y/n's eye and she looked away and wiped it off.

We walked in. It was empty and old. We walked around and she stoped at the desk. It was full of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie posters, dvds and such. There between all those things layd a diary. She hassitated at first but opened it. I walked over and she read it out loud. No one was alive to hear so I guess it's okay. "Two humans exited the ruins today! I hope they're frendly. We could be best of friends.... we could watch anime together and we could talk and such."

After that she closed it with a thud and leaned on the desk, crying. "I-i wish. We could have been. I wish." She said between sobs. I tryed comforting her rubbing circles on the back. After she stoped crying, we exited the lab and continued walking throughout Hotlands.
