[Avery in multimedia]
"I'm already missing you." Raquel said, a hint of seduction in her voice making Joey bit his bottom lip at how she sounded.
"Oh yeah?" He chuckled. "Want me to come through later on?"
Avery walked inside Joey's hotel room using the extra key card that he gave her. She was dressed in black while him on the other hand, hadn't even got the chance to get dressed yet. Right when Joey hopped out the shower, Raquel called and no doubt he answered. He didn't know what is was about her, but it was something.
"I'll leave the door unlocked." She giggled. "Don't keep me waiting."
Joey smirked and hung up, placing his phone face down on the bed before standing up and walking towards his suitcase.
"Nigga, can you hurry your ass up. We don't have all the time in the world. We have to be there by seven." Avery snapped.
"How you gonna come in my hotel room and tell me what to do?" He shook his head and laughed.
With his choice of clothing in hands, Joey walked back to the bathroom and started to get dressed. The whole time Avery was outside the bathroom door bitching about how he always made them late for stuff and all of that. You couldn't blame him though. It took time for him to look good, something that needed to be done each and everyday.
"Let's go because lord knows that mouth of yours 'bout to get your shit rocked." He mumbled. "I just have to put my damn shoes on."
"You won't hit me. You not stupid." Avery mumbled.
After tying the laces to his shoes, Joey grabbed the keys off the bed along with his phone and followed her out the room. He made sure he had the key card in his pocket before getting in the elevator with her. Unlocking his phone when seeing that Raquel sent him a message, Joey smirked. She sent him a nude.
A few moments later another text came in that read, I'm waiting.
"Let's get this shit over with." Joey said as they walked off the elevator and out the hotel where valet had already brought the car.

They watched Celeste along with her security leave out. They drove past their car and Joey blew out a breath of air, putting his phone in the pocket of the hoodie that he wore. He couldn't lie, the same feeling Avery had the other day was hitting him hard. He hated that feeling."It's now or never, Aves." He spoke as he pulled the key out of the ignition. Joey parked the car a couple houses down. It was a little after eight, and he knows she'll be back around nine which gave them more than enough time to get inside.
"I'm ready when you are."
Taking that as a cue to make the first move, he got out the car and began to walk toward the house. Even though he refused to show it, something deep down in him still felt nervous. Joey's been doing this job for years now, but he doesn't think that's something you can get used to. No matter how many times he takes a life he still feels highly anxious in the moments leading up to it.
"You think everything is going to run smooth, no problems whatsoever?" Avery wondered.
"How many times I have to tell you that?" He looked over at her. He was also trying to convince himself. "Go along with the plan we came up with yesterday and we good."
