[Avery and her mother in multimedia]
Brushing her hair from one side to the other, she held her phone in hand as she patiently waited for him to answer the phone call. Since Avery didn't have the time to answer Rio's call last night thanks to Sadria, she decided that instead of calling him around five in the morning, the time she woke up, she would just call him later on in the day when she knew he was awake. She'd just gotten out the shower so her hair was damp due to her having to wash it while in there. Avery ran her fingers through her hair, but that soon came to a halt when her call went unanswered.
That alone was something that worried her because he never left her calls unanswered. If he wasn't picking up by the third ring and couldn't answer, he would text her. Avery tried again and when getting the same results she wasted no time in sending him a quick text. This might've seemed like she was doing the most, but she was worried because this wasn't like him.
Avery: Hey, tried calling but you didn't answer ☹️
Avery: Call me when you canTossing her phone back down on the bed, she stood up from her sitting position on her bed and stood up to her feet allowing the towel that shielded her body to drop down onto the floor. She then made her way towards one of her drawers where her undergarments resided and took a set before putting them on and applying lotion on her skin. When finished with that she then began to rummage through her closet in attempt to find something to wear. If it wasn't for Avery having to run just a few errands then she would've been lounging around the apartment in a robe while binge watching Brickleberry on Netflix.
After a few minutes of contemplating on her outfit decision, she finally settled on what she'd wear for today. Choosing a black spaghetti strapped tank, she paired it with a distressed denim jacket that hid in the back of her closet, denim jeans that hugged the little pudge she had for a butt , and black heeled boots. Avery didn't bother touching her hair simply because it would do the work itself if she allowed it to. In the amount of time she would spend outside her cozy apartment it'll be dry. With that being said, she spritzed some perfume on and was on her way out the room with her phone in hand.
Isaiah's house was her first stop. She decided that she would visit because not only has she not been there in awhile, but she felt the need to tell them how she really met Rio. Although they didn't know question her on how they met, Avery knew they had their suspicions even Joey and she wanted to clear it up before the truth came out itself. No doubt they might get upset, but she was prepared for it.
Then when leaving his house she planned on visiting her mother at the rehabilitation center. Avery was debating on whether or not she should really go, but then again she had so many questions that needed answers. At this point of time she wasn't getting anything. Things were so out of place and she felt as if she was the only one who could explain it to her.
Checking her phone once again, Avery still hasn't gotten a text back from Rio. With a roll of her eyes followed by a sigh, she climbed into her car and slammed the door shut. Avery wasted no time in starting the car and pulling out the driveway.
She took the scenic route, but it still seemed as if she'd arrived to quick. Avery isn't completely ready to do this, but she knew it's something that needed to be done. She checked her phone once more before making her way into Isaiah's home. Avery walked around, finally finding them in Isaiah's office.
"I was starting to think you didn't love me anymore." Isaiah joked as she entered the room.
"Never that pops, I just been busy." Avery explained as she hugged him.
