Cassia's POV:
"Have a nice break!" My teacher exclaimed, dismissing us from our last class.
It was mid-February, and we had our annual two-week break starting today.
This break, I was going America with Dani, my mum, and Dani's mum.
I think we were visiting Florida, somewhere called Miami. A city, pretty big, I've heard.
Dani and I went shopping a couple weeks ago to get shorts and tank tops.
After school, I squealed (which I rarely do) and ran into Dani.
"I'm so excited!" I yelled, hugging her and I began talking quickly and loudly.
As we walked down the hallway, I felt someone bump into me, the awkwardly stand there waiting for my to stand up.
Harry.
"Um, I was wondering if I could talk to you for a second?" He muttered, playing with a hangnail.
I nodded and signaled one second to Dani, who started talking to a teacher about her vacation plans.
"Yeah?" I asked, feeling suddenly brace enough to talk to him without stuttering.
He looked up at me for a second, then back at his shoes.
"So, I wanted to say..." He stuttered, trying to find the right words. "I guess I wanted to...I wanted to say sorry? Yeah, sorry. Sorry for being so cruel to you. It wasn't right of me to say such mean things."
I nodded and he sighed.
"I only did it because I wanted...I don't know...popularity points." He said, a grimace growing on his face. "I know I sound like a total jerk, which I am. I'm pretty sure I've noticed that by now."
We both laughed at that.
"And Olivia was one of the reasons that I was influenced to be so mean."
I nodded and smirked. "Yeah, she's pretty much always hated me."
He smiled. "Yeah, she told me all the time that you were a total loser, which I now know you're not, and so I believed her since she was supposedly the queen bee of Chapman."
I raised my eyebrows. "Should you really be talking about your girlfriend that way?"
He chuckled, but not a threatening one. "Well, she's not actually my girlfriend anymore." He said, pointing back down the hallway. "I just broke up with her."
I opened my eyes wide. "Someone broke up with Olivia Richards? That's a first."
He laughed again, which was so strange that it was at something I had said.
"Anyway, Cassia, I was wondering if you'd forgive me, not completely, but as much as you can?"
I nodded. "I forgive you, not completely, but enough so that I can get over it."
He smiled even bigger.
"Do you think that you would ever consider being my friend?" He asked, saying the words slowly, carefully.
I smirked and started turning back down the hallway.
"Maybe, Styles, just maybe."
With that, I turned around and called to Dani and we walked away.
And the whole walk down the hallway I could feel Harry's smile burning into my back.

I'm so glad Harry apologized for being such a jerk.
