"Hi I'm Gigi"

Gigi's POV:

Hey.

So I'm Gigi.

You probably have no idea who I am.

Well, I'm Gigi Kaplan.

I go to Chapman.

It's fine.

I don't know how to say this without sounding like I'm into girls or something, but I only have guy friends. No girl friends.

Not one.

Yeah, pretty sad, huh?

But I don't really care that much.

Boys are nice to be friends with. There's no girl drama, and you can always play sports or whatever whenever you want, with whoever you want.

It's pretty nice, to have people that I always have fun with. Some people have no one.

I walked out of the lunchroom with my friends.

"Hey Gi, heads up!" Louis, my best friend, called out, kicking a football in my direction.

I trapped it with my feet and chipped it up into my hands.

"C'mon, Lou. We wanna get the field before anyone else." I yelled over the murmur of voices, and jogged over to the big turf field.

"Shoot." I muttered.

The cheerleaders had already taken up the entire field, doing their stupid routine.

All of the boys went over to watch, so I just went to a spot underneath the bleachers.

"I wish I had some friends that weren't boys." I whispered, throwing the ball in the air and catching it.

After a while, Louis, Harry, and a couple of other boys walked over.

"Hey." Louis smiled as he plopped down next to me.

"Hey." I grinned.

"Olivia and the other girls just finished their routine. Wanna go for a game of football?" Harry begged, standing up and banging his head on the bleachers.

"Ow." He muttered.

I laughed. "Sure." I said standing up. "Race ya' there!" I said to Louis, starting to sprint.

"Hey! You got a head start!" He complained, already several yards behind me.

I laughed again, and sprinted onto the field, dropping the ball to the ground and kicking, far.

Louis came up behind me, panting.

"You're pretty fast." He said, which he already knew, but said every time we raced.

"I know." I smirked, running after the ball with him close on my heels.

And this is why I was only friends with boys.
