In life, we have so many things that we have to deal with. Every day we have challenges to face, feelings to comprehend, people to please, promises to keep, and fears to overcome. It's okay. That's normal.

But what happens when we allow these things to become a greater part of our lives than God?

In Hebrews 12:1-3, the apostle Paul writes:

"...fixing our eyes on Jesus... that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

God should be our first priority in everything we do. As shown in the parable of Jesus walking on water, when we take our focus off of Him we sink and slip away in the waves of sin and death. But when we keep our eyes upon the Lord we have the ability to walk on water.

Focus on Jesus.

Putting your focus on earthly things and putting them before Christ is only going to tear you down because those things

Putting your focus on earthly things and putting them before Christ is only going to tear you down because those things... They're inconsistent and disappointing at times. But our God is good ALL the time! His love is constant and He will never fail you!
