I sat in the hall with Vik, Harry, Tobi, Jide and Ethan for breakfast.

Of course Simon does what he always does, which is saying/doing something drastic then isolating himself afterwards.

I tucked into my toast, as did the rest of us besides Vik, obviously.

I kept looking up, to check if Simon was going to come in anytime soon.

He was late a lot, just never this late..

"Do you reckon he's ill?" Tobi asked.

I turned to him, and he was looking back at me with an uplifted complexion.

He must've noticed my interest; which was Simon.

"No, uh," I cracked before clearing my throat. "We argued last night, I guess he isn't over it like I am," I lied, knowing that Simon wouldn't want the others worrying about him like I was.

Tobi raised a brow, eyes widening slightly. "Argued?" He quizzed, "over what, man?"

I gulped, "Doesn't matter."

I turned back to my food, and sipping some orange juice from my cup.

"Well," Tobi started again, but I kept my eyes on the table. "He gotta pull himself together 'cause we got rugby today. We don't need you two getting into fist fights on the pitch do we?" He teased, chuckling a little.

I just smiled in response, though I didn't exactly want to.

He better be in class today, I swear.

I pulled my socks up to my knees in the school's changing rooms.

We had to go in teams, which meant Jide, Simon and Vik weren't with us.

I stared off, sat in my rugby uniform which had the school's green and black colours on them.

I was beginning to think of Simon again, and I was feeling kinda low about it.

"Come on, mate," Tobi ushered as I came to realise that everyone was already leaving to the pitch.

I shook my head, attempting to shake any thoughts of Simon out of my mind at this moment. "Yeah, right, okay."
~

The whistle blew and both teams scurried out of their huddles for the rugby ball.

I didn't bother trying to help the others get it. I wasn't in the mood at all to play properly. I didn't even like rugby that much.

My eyes went to Simon, who had the ball now.

For some reason, a flourish of determination came across my body. I didn't want him to get a point.

The next thing I knew, he was running to our side to try and score. I clenched my fists and rand towards him.

I didn't want to stop.

I ran as fast as I bloody could, and pinned him to the floor in a fierce tackle.

"The fuck?" He yelped.

I frowned, getting up before spitting on the floor beside him.

"I don't know what the hell is going on with you two but you both pack it in now," Ethan warned to Simon and I as we sat on opposite ends of the circle at break.

"I'm fine," I lied.

I wasn't fine.

I was mad, so mad that Simon managed to flip my thoughts completely with one sentence. Seriously, how could he just tell me that he's in love with me, make me barely sleep at night, then act like none of it happened?
