Saturday, the best day of the fucking week.

I strode out of my dorm after getting changed into my black joggers and black shirt.

I approached the next door along from me, which held Josh, Tobi and Ethan.

I knocked on the door three times with the back of my hand before fiddling with my clothes; not wanting to look rough in front of Joshua; Even though he'd seen me cry like a fool already.

I cleared my throat, hearing a pair of feet walk towards the door.

It soon swung open and I was greeted by Tobi, who just smiled and stepped aside, allowing me to come in.

As soon as I was inside, Tobi closed the door. Their room was so messy and gross. I glanced around, noticing clothes that'd been slung over the bars on the two sets of bunk beds.

I hated mess, I was the main reason why our room was fairly clean last year.

"Hey, bro," Ethan, who was sat at his bunk, nodded to me and I sent him a slight smile.

"Hey, man," I commented before glancing to the other bunk; seeing Joshua sat, earphones plugged into his MP3 as he was reading a book.

I don't think he'd noticed me there yet.

I was about to go over, but I felt a strong weight jump on my back. Then, some arms wrapped around my chest.

I stumbled, but luckily whoever it was jumped back off.

I turned around, already hearing that distinctive laugh.

It was Jide.

"Hello to you too, mate," I chuckled before noticing that he was still in his pyjamas..

"Alright?" He asked, before pulling me into a brief 'bro hug'.

"I'm good," I raised a brow, still confused as to why the fuck he was in this room considering his was across the hall.

He slipped into the bathroom door and I just turned around, seeing that Josh had finally noticed me.

His lips lifted at both sides, he was greeting me with a welcoming, warm grin.

My heart melted a little.

"Come here, wanna show you something," Josh patted the spot of the mattress beside him, and I was more than happy to park myself by him.

"What is it?" I asked, and he pulled up the book he'd been previously reading.

"Vik let me borrow this, it's full of quotes on just about everything. It's pretty neat, isn't it?" He asked, briefly flickering through the pages to show me its contents.

I nodded, smiling profusely as I found the fact that he was so interested in a quote book so admirable.

"Yeah, it is," I paused, suddenly remembering the slip of paper I'd received the previous night. "Ohh! Is this where you got that thing you gave me?" I asked, my phrasing of the question made me sound extremely slack.

I then saw Joshua's cheeks glow with pink. His eyes shifted awkwardly around the room before looking back to me; it seemed as if he was checking if anyone heard me say it.

"Yeah, yeah. It is," he finally responded in his deep voice, smiling at me gently.

He then went back to flickering through the pages, looking to the opposite bunk.

I realised the lower bunk across from us was all messed up and the sheets were scrambled with; it looked slept in.

I knew for a fact that no one had claimed that bunk, since Behz was above it and Tobi and Josh had the ones which we were sat at.
