J-
Monday.
I sat with my elbows on my desk, my head resting on my forearms.
So many thoughts were swirling through my mind.
What the fuck even am I?
I was so new to all of this. I'd never done anything with a boy before Simon.
I mean, I think I enjoyed it. But, I don't really know. I don't know if I could compare it to my experiences with a girl so easily.
I was just confused, curious even. Curious to why these thoughts are coming to me now. Is it normal to think about this shit when you're almost done with school?
It seems so late on to realise, I don't know..
"Josh!" I snapped out of it.
I looked up at my Business teacher, she looked absolutely pissed. She was shooting me a stern glance, her brow raised. It looked as if her tight bun was literally strangling her skull.
"Sorry.." I hummed, assuming she was just yelling at me for not paying attention; as I usually try my hardest to listen to her God-awful high pitched voice.
She sighed, "I said, if you were paying attention, that Mr. Phillips would like to borrow you."
I furrowed my brows, why does he want me?
He literally taught me once as our science teacher was ill. And he seemed to bloody hate me.
But, even that was years ago.
I looked over to the door, seeing him stood there. He sent me a smile, his brown strands covering his dark orbs.
He was about fourty-ish. But, he looked a lot younger. He has stubbled cheeks and a stubbled jaw, kind of like my own; but mine was way better.
I got up, beginning to walk over.
"Bring your bags, Joshua. You won't be back in this lesson." He informed, and I shrugged; doing as I was told.
I wasn't sure whether or not to be worried. Or bloody relieved, as Business was a damn drag that day.
Phillips didn't say another word, he just led me down to where his office was. He mainly taught History, to his place was amongst that section of classrooms.
We finally reached his office and he held the door for me, and I thanked him.
"Sit, please," He instructed as he stepped inside, the wooden door falling shut behind his frame.
I sat down on one of the two chairs on the opposite side of his desk.
"Can I ask, what this is about?" I questioned, following him with my orbs as he stepped around to sit on his desk, legs only a few centimetres from my own.
He looked down at me, sighing. He pressed his hands together before parting his lips to speak.
"Simon's seeing his mentor, yes?" He asked, and I shrugged.
"I assume so.. He said he was at least."
"Oh," he chirped. "What did he say he was going for?"
I furrowed my brows defensively, I really wasn't enjoying how much he seemed to be asking about Simon.
"He's been struggling with writing and reading. Also, focusing in general." I huffed, "You teach his class, you must've known that.."
Surely Si's teacher would know about his difficulties.. So, why the fuck was I being dragged into it?
